[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for one I was given for xmas 2023. It was 6 months into its guarantee ans stopped working completely. Kitchen Aid replaced it, just a couple of questions about how it was being used, and then a brand new one and a full one year guarantee with it. Thank you for backing up your product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love this. The Kitchenaid products I have used are great and this is the same. Support has also been easy to work with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the KitchenAid 13 cup food processor. First, I have to say how well it was packaged! At no point was I at risk of cutting myself taking it out of the box and setting it up. The processor isn't heavy like you would think and it takes up hardly any space! All of the blades have a designated spot to pick them up, place and remove them. These are heavy duty as well, they are going to last a long time! It's very easy to use and changing blades for different functions is flawless. Quick and simple! The quality this processor produces is incredible as well! I made egg salad with this and it was so smooth! I have a child with sensory issues and while they love egg salad, the texture is a BIG issue. I have never been able to make it so easily as I was able to with this! Needless to say, myself and my family are loving it! I also have to mention, you don't have to worry about storing parts for it either, they all fit inside for easy storage! KitchenAid always makes such great, quality products and this 13 cup food processor is no different!
Great merchandise, good packaging and fast delivery.
This is a huge time saver for my weekly salad prep. I can slice all my veggies in it. Then I slice my cheese for the salad. I have been using this product approx 2x a week and love it. Only down fall is cleaning which is expected with any item. Someone mentioned it's a challenge to get all the parts make in the included storage container and I am not an engineer and can figure it out…so can you! The one thing I would change for future is a ability to lock the blade in when dumping. You have to remove the blade out before dumping contents into bowl or the blade will come out and potentially cut you. Maybe I am using that part wrong.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, just had to replace the kit because the fragile plastic around the metal latch broke. Will treat the new lid like glass to make sure the plastic around the metal latch does not break any more. The machine is great works perfectly.
They sent me the wrong product. I overpaid for the one they sent me. I am frustrated. I reached out to the sellers. Will updated if this is corrected. If not and I end out having to return it I will leave my review as is. Because I have been scammed paying over 100$ more than this is worth.
Unfortunately I cannot rate this Kitchenaid food processor highly because there is a significant design flaw with the lid: the metal clasp which secures the lid to the bowl easily breaks off due to a weakness of the flange on the plastic lid. This part has broken twice within two years and is very annoying, because the lid now cannot be closed without holding onto it. I purchased an extended warranty on this food processor, and it look several months for a replacement lid to arrive. The clasp on the lid recently broke again, and at this point I'm seriously contemplating replacing the food processor with a model from a different manufacturer which uses a different lid locking mechanism. I should also mention that this food processor comes with many parts, which allows for numerous uses but may frustrate some.
Out of the blue, The handle came off from the bottom - I take good care of my appliances - have a cuisinart (made in Japan) for 43 years and just wanted something less heavy, more portable for small tasks, Kitchen-Aid MISSED the mark Sorry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty unhappy with this food procsseor. I bought it to replace my 20+ year old Cuisinart and based on a Wired review which said that it worked well and was good for small places. What I dod not look: 1) TOO MANY PIECES - it takes 3 separate pieces to use the basic food processing function (to make things like pie crusts and pizza dough). The get food stuck in them and are difficult to clean, particularly given that the blade is razor sharp. The lid also has too many pieces. In the feeding tube, there are 2 parts to the tube (again, more to clean). 2) Cord - it is not retractable, so you have to wind it under the base for storage. Annoyring. 3) Overall - feels like it won't last. I have tried using it for a couple months, and I really wish I could return it. I hae tried; I still don't like it.
