My wife and I like so many others, stuck in the house. So we decided to try the T7. It appealed most to us. We love it. Sorry we didn't get it sooner.
This treadmill has been wonderful! I have used it almost everyday for a year and it has had no problems. I would get a larger screen next time around just because I really like the iFIT feature but the screen on this model is still plenty large to view.
I've really enjoyed this treadmill. I suffer from shin splits easily with running and running on this with good shoes has been a game changer! No more shin splints! I even found I enjoy the iFit program so much that I've kept my membership renewed to continue challenging myself!
Love my machine, only reason for the 4 stars is that it needed repair maintenance 2 times in one year. They extended our 1 year membership to IFit another 3 months but I think after the second repair, it should've been another 3 months.
The treadmill is good and allows me to get great workouts in when I can connect. The problem is that every other day I have to pull the cord from the outlet to get the treadmill to sync up. It also always starts with me having to start at setup and do a full login in order to get to the IFit program. very annoying
I initially bought the Carbon T7 honestly because it has a sleek look and decent specs to handle heavier people. For those purposes it does well, performs as I'd expect it to. I'll just mention the one thing that makes me subtract a star, no, two - I hate how tightly integrated iFit is with the device. I might be wrong, but I don't see a way to just start the treadmill without going through the process EVERY TIME of skipping iFit usage on the touch screen. Why can't I just hit the start button to start? I understand that iFit is on a lot of treadmills these days and that's just what you get, but this is really annoying and I hear that on NordicTracks you can at least just hit the start button to start walking. Other than that, fine device!
As a treadmill the quality is good especially for the price. Unfortunately iFit subscriptions are pricey and the tablet interface often resets itself, updates have caused issues before requiring a full reset. I think the actual treadmill portion of the product is good but the iFit tablet interface is not very good and unless you really want to use iFit features I would suggest a proform product without iFit.
Equipment overall is very good. However there has been a knock in the machine with the incline since the start. Even after 2 online sessions to diagnose and the replacement of the lift device piston it still occurs. So I do not use the incline at all and close to a year now. I have extended warranty for 4 years but not sure of the value if this cannot be diagnosed properly and fixed.
Just purchased my PROFORM® CARBON T7 treadmill. It does not operate as I expected. I am not interested in iFit at all, I only need to use manual settings. Also, I don't need “warm up”. When I turn on the treadmill, I would like to be able to set the speed and just go without playing with touch screen while the belt is already going. I also don't want to change the incline all the time, I want it fixed at 5%. I asked if there a way to completely disable iFit and operate this machine in manual mode? Can the incline stay fixed if I don't want to change it? Can warmup be disabled? The help desk said no to everything. Apparently, iFit company wants to upsell treadmills to monthly fees for iFit service making the treadmill software and the treadmill itself almost unusable. I recommend staying away from this uncaring and greedy company.
I've unfortunately had nothing but problems with this treadmill, starting less than 30 days after I received it. Very disappointed!!
