The product isn't designed correctly. The "lid" stops short of covering the top of the Airpods case, which I believe is to allow the bottom portion to cover the seam of the case to make it "Waterproof". What that means for the purchaser is when you open your case, the lid slides in the silicone and makes it difficult to close the case. I stopped using the case because I didn't want to keep having to force it closed.
