This was half an inch shorter than the commode style, but $70 cheaper! we've had no issues with it and it's helped my mom so much with standing after using the toilet. We have an oval toilet, so the best way to use the riser was to push the seat up and put the riser on the actual procelain rim. We also are over 300 lbs and have had zero issues!

It added needed height to the toilet and made it easier to get up off of the toilet when done. Could have used a 4 inch one instead of the 5 inch, but it works great.

I injured my knee %26 this was exactly what I needed as my commode sat too low for comfort. However, I'm 5'9 %26 I really don't think this would be good for anyone shorter unless you have a toilet that already sits really low.

The toilet riser was advertised that it would fit any toilet but it doesn't and I can't return it. I sent a message to the company and they told me to talk directly to Walmart. Now I'm out a large price and no product that I desperately need.
