I have had several diff types of these phone holders, many are complete fails!! This one actually looks like it will work!! I haven't tried out yet but i will be making a 8 hr trip in 2 wks so this will be tested and needed. My mom has one almost like this one and it works great for her iPhone. I have an android, so we will see.
I just love scosche products. I have been using them over the years and the quality is just amazing. This magnetic phone mount is no different. It just works. Unlike old traditional phone holders where you have to use two hands to place your phone in the holder and while removing. This magnetic mount is a breeze. You just paste it on the mount and there you go, your phone just sticks. That means less time adjusting your phone and more time on focused driving and less accidents. I would recommend this magnetic mount to every car driver. Scosche has many types of mounts. You choose which one suits your needs. All of them are great and i have used many different kind of mounts. This one is for your dashboard. You remove the sticker on the back and place it in your favorite position and thats it. I have an iphone 12 max pro and it is a very heavy phone and it has a magsafe cover as well. It sticks pretty well and have never dropped off the mount while driving. Totally recommend product.
like the title says, its a great phone Magnetic Mount. i am using the phone mount in a 2019 ford flex SEL and a Samsung Galaxy NOTE 20 Ultra with a RAZER Branded Silicone Case Made For The Note 20 Ultra. i put the metal sticky plate behind the silicone case so that i wouldn't damage my NOTE 20 Ultra phone and the phone does NOT move when i am driving, specially on a bumpy road. i took it through the toughest areas in Los Angeles with Road Damage to put the mount to the test and it worked Flawlessly! i am very happy with the mount and i am very positive that you will too. the box contents came with: 1. 1 wet cleaning pad which made the suction of the mount stick very well to my dashboard. 2. two metal mounting pads, one slightly thicker then the other one to stick direct to your phone or behind your silicone case. 3.the Magnetic Mount. positive things about it: 1. the magnet does not affect the color of the phone display in any negative way when mounted to it. 2. it comes with two adhesive metal thin pads to use for two different phone cases. 3. works well with silicone cases or direct to the back of the phone. 4. a very nice design that can match just amount any car interior the negative: 1. the magnet is not strong enough to work on thicker plastics cases like my Samsung branded slim case with built in kick stand. 2. if you use wireless charging with your smartphone, the metal adhesive pad will interrupt it if its mounted directly behind your phone because it will block the area that is used for that but if its behind a case instead it wont be a problem, just keep in mind that you will have to remove the case every time to wireless charge your phone. however, if you charge your phone with a USB cable like i do then there is nothing to worry about. overall i give this magnetic phone mount a 5 star rating because it is very strong and not even the bumpy roads made my note 20 ultra (which is a heavy phone) fall off the mount plus there is ZERO interference with the magnate damaging the display.
This magnetic phone mount is great. I have a motorola g5 stylus and I was not sure if it would work with my phone and case I have on it but it comes with a small metal tag that you can stick to any smart phone or case with a small flat area on it. The magnet sticks like crazy to that small tag making it almost imposable to fall off. I just used the vent clip to attach the holder to my car and that worked pretty well, if I were to use it a lot I might use the piece to stick it directly to the dash but I like the idea of being able to use it in different vehicles. All of these pieces come with the kit and I do have a picture included. This mount also has a ton of different movements so that you can get the screen of your phone just right. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a phone mount.
I've tried many car mounts. They either fall off the dashboard/mirror/window/vent or the phone falls off the mount! I was skeptical when I saw this one but found myself pleasantly surprised!! Not only does it stick and NOT MOVE once suctioned and stuck to the dashboard, but my phone DOES NOT MOVE! There is a screw on the piece that holds the phone. Once that is tight, the phone will stay where you want it. I'm thoroughly impressed and am purchasing another one for my mom's car for when I drive it!
It has been over a year since I have given up hope and stop buying to try these type of car air vent's phone holders. The reason is simply they all were cannot hold onto the air-vent especially when the car was getting little bumpy on the road and when the whole thing (phone holder and the phone) fell off quickly and hit the car gear-shifting area, it created a very loud bang which scare the heck out of me and since then I have not given more thought of them . So far the only type that work well for me are those with sticky pad that user could be place onto the dashboard. I was hesitant to try this one at first because I think it will be a waste of time but I decided to give it just another tiny try and I am glad that I have because this one has a very strong grip, in fact its grip is so strong, it has broken one of the vent's grill when I try to remove it without using the other hand to hold back the grill (see included picture), so REMEMBER to always hold back the grill while removing this product from the air vent. Beside this product has very strong grip, its magnet is also very strong too it hold the phone solidly. Also when remove the phone from the magnet, try to give the phone an upward twist and then pull instead of just pulling it straight out, you will find that it will be much easier Overall, I like it very much and only time would tell how long it gonna last :-)
I have an iPhone 11 plus. The mount held my phone as long as I did not have my phone case on. It does come with magic plate to attach to other phones that are not iPhone 12 or later. It does wobble as you're driving on rocky roads like speed bumps, pot holes, or streets that need new pavement. I've been using this for two weeks and nothing has broke nor has my phone not fall off. I wish the neck was able to expand to raise higher. It's very easy to use. I recommend this product!
I was excited to see what this phone car holder could do that's different from any other car phone holder that I have tried out in the pass. I have Never tried the mag safe so this was exciting. I have to say this one seemed to be doing the job when I first Put everything together butttt there's that but lol after One car ride blammm! It's drops.. I've entered it into the air vents correctly but it still falls I've even tried the other way with the dash board and still no luck..
The Car Magnetic Phone Mount kit is an okay car phone mount. According to the product description, you get 4 different mounting options inside one package: regular vent, Free Flow vent, regular dash, and Swing-Arm dash mounts. It states that the design of the mount head allows iphone 12 devices or later with a MagSafe to secure to the mount (without the need to use a Magic Plate). However, I found it really hard to place my iphone on the magnetic mount. The phone slipped slightly and I felt like the phone was not completely secured on the magnetic phone mount. Also, I had to take my iphone out of its phone case in order for it to stick on the magnetic phone mount. The phone mount itself is pretty secure since it is designed with vent slips to clip onto the car vent. But the car magnetic mount holding my phone did not feel secure. Overall, I do not like my phone slipping during my car rides. I was really hoping for a strong magnetic grip on this phone mount kit.
Simply put: it's a car mount for your phone. It secures on both your windshield and dashboard. The magnets are strong so you don't have to worry about your phone falling off. The biggest downside to this car mount is unfortunately a deal breaker for many. If you have a relatively new iPhone or Android phone this car mounts is exactly what you're looking for. However many of you out there still have older phones that are not compatible with this accessory. Furthermore you need a case so if you're looking to just throw your bare phone up on this mount it simply isn't going to work.
