I am an adult female and I love this mirror! I also gave it to my 11 year old niece and she loves it too. If I were to change anything about this product it would be that it would be easier to flip the mirror to the other side without having to touch the mirror. Don't let that stop you from buying it though!
I didn't really want to spend the extra $ on this mirror, but I'm glad I did! The light settings are awesome if you have poor lighting in your house. It was just what I needed.
This is the second Conair make-up mirror that I have purchased in the last 10 years. And after trying two other brands within several weeks; with which I was not happy; I purchased another CONAIR exacly like the first one I had. The other brands of lighted mirrors cost twice as much as the CONAIR; but I was not happy with either of the others. I would definitely recommend this mirror. The only negative about this CONAIR is it is difficult to find replacement light bulbs for it.
I have used this product for many years. I just had to buy another one after one of the bulbs burnt out and it is very hard to get the bulb out and also I have no idea of where to get replacement bulbs. But I really like the product. Does it get hot? yes, but just be careful, you don't want to set it on the carpet and walk away for an hour. I don't use all 4 light settings, I only use one of them. All and all, I think its a great product.
This makeup mirror is by far a superior product. The four light settings enable you to prepare a variety of makeup scenarios. The best by far though, the the 5X magnification mirror. Eye makeup has never been so easy to apply. I suggest every woman have one of these mirrors on her vanity.
I'm used to the Windermere make-up mirror which is easy to use and the magnification is not 10,000%. The magnification on this one is way too strong and distorts the image. However, it does show up all the blemishes and blackheads when you get right up close. I did like the variable lighting even though it didn't make a difference. Lessen the magnification and you have a gr8 product.
Product will not stand up correctly....not enough notches in the stand to allow it to position for use without looking down into the mirror. It generates heat quickly and I would not want to leave it plugged in for more than a very short period of time. Also seems a little dark on the lighting. I had to return it to our local store, which was an easy and convenient process.
I BOUGHT A MIRROR SIMULAR TO THIS AND HAD IT FOR YEARS,WANTED TO GET A NEW ONE SO I BOUGHT THIS ONE,THIS MIRROR GOT REAL HOT BEFORE I EVEN GOT MY MAKEUP ON.RETURNING IT TODAY,VERU DISAPPOINTED
Didn't like this mirror at all. All the light settings were very yellow, not much difference between each setting. The light bulbs got VERY HOT within 30 minutes & fingers got burnt on the back side of the mirror when putting it away. Purchased it because the price was right, but immediately returned it after one use. Spend a few dollars more for the Jerdon tri-fold mirror, which has more true light settings & stays cool to the touch(fluorescent lights).
I bought this for my daughter because her bedroom lighting is poor, & she could not properly apply her makeup. Sometimes her foundation would be too dark not blended well. I expected this mirror's lighting to be a white enough light to give her more of an outdoor lighting, or at the very least, a brighter light than her bedroom. Sadly, the lights on this mirror are not bright at all and are all very yellow with the exception of one particular setting. Even this one setting was so low, however, that it did not help at all. I am returning it. :(
