Love this proctor silex grinder! It is quieter, does the job. Nice to be able to remove parts for cleaning.
Easy to use, quiet and perfect when you have little ones sleeping at home.
I don't have much space and the design of this grinder is perfect for a small apt. It's the right size and its great that you can wind the cord inside so that it isn't hanging all out over the counter top. Who ever came up with this design deserves a good bonus, and one other thing is I like the fact that the grinder is in 3 sections and you lock the lid on and then put the larger lid on and press it to grind and it really is quite quiet. I think you will like this grinder as much as I do, best purchase I have made with appliances

This grinder is powerful, fast and quiet. It gets the job done. My only criticism is that the grinder cup sticks a little. You have to be really careful not to fling your freshly ground coffee all over the counter.
It's a bit bulky & peculiar but it works, and the grinder cup can be removed
Love that you can actually take the grinding area and wash it. No cleaning worries having to do with getting the motor wet. Grinds up the Flax seeds just fine, is quiet, but the diameter of the unit is fairly large. Would be difficult to hold in one hand when emptying the contents for someone with small hands. Blade flops all over the place when the grinder chamber is removed from the unit.
I love it! It's perfect for just my boyfriend & I. The reason I took off a star is because water does get trapped on the black rubber part of the base and it's hard to get out. I like to clean it after use and put it back into the box so I have to keep shaking it and drying the water as I go.
