Really fits the bill. Out son loves building with legos so the desk and wrap around shelf is great. Easy to put together with help from my son My son is thrilled with his new set up
My grandson loves this bed/gaming center. My husband did not like putting it together, if we had to do it over we would hire someone to do it. Very sturdy
My 10 year old son begged for this bed. It took me a single mom, 3 days on and off to build. The YouTube video was such a help when I couldn't figure out what to do. The hardest part was the mesh screens at the end. Overall easy enough to assemble!
You get what you pay for people! And for the price this is amazing quality my 7 year old LOVES it and it's so sturdy. It did come in a ton of pieces, however my husband got it togather by himself in about an hour! It's very tall. So make sure to read dimensions! All around though we are so beyond happy with this purchase. Only thing that's a little sketchy is the latter. It takes some getting used too. If it was angled it would be better.
We are thrilled with the setup we chose for our son, and overall, we are quite satisfied with our purchase. Our son expressed a need for more space compared to what a regular bed offered, prompting us to opt for the Rocker Bunk bed with the integrated desk below. This arrangement not only provided the extra room he desired but also created a more practical and functional layout for his 11-year-old needs. The assembly process was a joint effort between his dad and him, which turned out to be a bonding experience despite taking approximately 6 hours to complete. While the instructions provided weren't the clearest, the process allowed for meaningful father-son interaction, making it worthwhile in the end. Our son is absolutely thrilled with his bed/desk combination. However, after having it for five months, we've observed that it tends to wobble, which is a bit concerning. Additionally, the thin metal step rail has proven to be uncomfortable, causing discomfort when stepping into the bed. Some added padding or reinforcement would greatly enhance its functionality and reduce discomfort. Despite these drawbacks, we still rate the product 4 stars, acknowledging its complexity during assembly, the wobbling issue, and the discomfort caused by the stair rungs. Nonetheless, the overall satisfaction and utility provided to our son outweigh these concerns.
Great bed however the instructions need to switched to put together the bed together first then mesh back and sides before you put on the shelves. It's frustrating to have to lean over the desk to get them on. I lost about 6 of the spacers in the hole, the illustration the piece is bigger. it's really not. There is not a tab on the side and it's easily to lose the spacer in the hole and not be able to get them back out. Now I need to figure out how to get replacement spacer parts.
The jury is still out on the Battle Bunk and XRocker Customer Service. I'll be happy to update at a later date if Customer Service comes through. The good: I ordered and received the bed quickly within two days of my purchase. It was an easy process and great price. The Disappointing: Unboxing the bed, I discovered damage on the main desk portion as well as poorly welded frame piece. The TBD - I will submit a customer support request and will see if & how Customer Service responds and if & how quickly replacement parts come through.
As soon as I took pieces out, they were dented and scraped. As a single mom it's not easy to put everything back in an open box with styrofoam everywhere to ship back. Extremely dissatisfying to put this bed up with dented poles and scraped desktop. The desk top is not as sturdy as I thought and poles are pretty light. I haven't even gotten to putting it together and I regret it.
Bed was scratched in several places. One part of bed was bent in to the point it was almost busted through. One end of one of the support slats for the mattress was completely bent and couldnt be used. My son was so excited when the bed come in for his birthday, and we didnt want to have to return it and wait for a replacement and disappoint him, so we had to fix it ourselves. While the bed was delivered in a timely fashion, the product itself was a huge disappointment.
Came damaged, I'm super upset and frustrated having to carry this heavy thing back to store to get my money back.
