[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First purchased an off brand replacement. Saw it wasn't the quality of Phillips original. Returned off brand for the Phillips replacement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first experience with replacement blades was with a Chinese knockoff for less money than Philips one year ago. From the beginning they were TOO sharp and not as effective as the Philips product. They would actually cut my face and not very close of a shave. I will never go back and I love the Philips product. I was amazed at the difference in the two products. Philips knows what it is doing even if it costs a little more. By the way-I have use Philips' razors for many/many years and not one razor has stopped working. I just trade up to another model after years of use each time. Thanks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These replacement blades were very easy to install, and I immediately noticed a much closer shave with less time. I will definitely purchase this product again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying new blades on the usual sites, all claiming to be replacement blades. I finally decided to go right to the Phillips site. Now I get the fastest and closest shave ever, even if I don't shave for a few days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't understand why the blades are so expensive. They work well, but I feel the cost does not represent the cost to produce them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New blades are always a pleasure to enjoy. I just wish they would last longer than six months before I notice them getting duller
not what i expected was a knockoff of what i really needed. i went to norelco directly and ordered from the source which is what i should have done if the first place. especially since when i went to walmart to make the return i had my phone out to take a photo of something and was rudely interrupted by a walmart sales associate and demanded i could not take photos or record in walmart due to it being a private place. thats when i requested a manager and was told the associate was way in the wrong. i asked for an apology and was told she could not make the associate do that.
The vendors substituted a different blade. On the box, it says that the blade was SH91/50 not SH51/52. They were inferior quality and caused irritation and bleeding. Counterfeit blades?
I've been using SH90/72 replacement shaving heads on my S9311 shaver for several years with no problem. When I most recently needed to replace them, the Philips website told me that SH90/72 was discontinued and replaced by SH91/52. So I purchased SH91/52, only to find that the heads cannot fit in my shaver! The SH91/52 heads have two fins that stick out from the otherwise round head, and these prevent them from fitting into the housing that holds the heads. I'd suggest you check the shape of your existing shaving heads closely before purchasing SH91/52 as a replacement. And needless to say, it's quite disappointing that Philips apparently no longer makes a replacement shaving head that actually works in my shaver. Interestingly, I also noticed that the design in the center of the SH91/52 heads I received is different than design shown in the pictures of the heads both on the box they came in and on the Philips website. See the attached photos.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades do not last very long and lose their sharpness after several shaves. The first couple of shaves are great but the blades begin irritating my skin and pulling after approximately 5 shaves.
