It was my second griddle love it.use it home in my camper,i grill breakfast,dinner,supper.
This thing is better than advertised. I love it. Have some patience with figuring out the heat settings for different foods, but so far, I have zero complaints and a big fan!
Love this griddle for the space, weight, and compatibility! We hook it to our RV's propane tank with the hose attachment.
We love this griddle. It was super easy to season and we started cooking on it right away without any sticking. Bacon, eggs, quesadillas, pork chops, French toast, Hitachi and more. Easy to clean too!
Got it opened. Took about 30 minutes to organize, unpack and put together. Hooked up the propane and then seasoned it. I did 6 layers. Turned out pretty good and from what I have read, the more it's used the more even the back gets and the nonstick. Did my 1st meal about an hour after. Made some Philly cheese steaks. They turned out awesome. I'm not ready to dump my webber grill but this is an amazing addition to my outdoor kitchen.
The pictures and instructions were glued to the griddle.
Downsizing from a 36” as it only my wife and I now and we just don't need that huge 36” griddle anymore. This tabletop model appears well built and a lot more portable for camping, etc. it's still really heavy, but that is to be expected because of the cast iron griddle.
Griddle top is not flat. Received unit with front lip bowed out. Flat top is wavy. Ran through heat cycles as directed on website and still wavy...makes hard to clean. Grease trap is mediocre. Grease trap is fine as long as it's just one or two drips at a time,ant more and it starts to travel and fall away from Grease trap down unit and floor. Unit does not light up easy takes many times to light. Not really sure how I feel about my purchas. All the hype is just YouTube stuff. It cooks fine just disappointed with what I got.
We purchased this griddle as a gift and when it was opened, the griddle top was deeply scratched. This came from Blackstone damaged and sealed up in the box. The paper that covered the griddle top had holes in it where something heavy had been laid on it or more likely dropped on it. I'm very unhappy with Blackstone. It is hard to see in the photos, but added the picture of the paper that covered the griddle top as well.
The Griddle I received is a piece of junk. They sent me a new igniter I put it on I'm no griddle mechanic Griddle setting in back yard will not work once flames came out and burned hairs off my hand. I paid for a working unit and got a useless griddle .Will never buy another product from Blackstone . Not sure it will make good scrape metal. Don't buy Blackstone products.
