just got this last Friday. Very easy to set up. The smart part works to make access to antenna, Amazon and other streaming so easy. I read about annoying commercials, not sure what this is about because there is None on this one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this Samsung Smart TV. It has all the Apps we need and it is so easy/friendly to use. It is also so easy to add other Apps. Clear picture and connects to the internet in a Flash!! Will buy it again to replace other TV's in our household.
I've had my tv for almost 5 years now and really enjoy the 4K. I love the Samsung Plus TV service that gives me subscription tv for free! I love that it has two anime channels plus the Vevo music channels, just love the Retro Rock channel. My only complaint is that I have to reset my memory once a month because it says the memory is full, and I hope Samsung puts in more memory in future models since streaming is now my only way to watch tv.
Worked great for about 4-1/2 years. Now there's a black semi-opaque vertical bar that takes up 15% of the left side of the screen.
Was very good, great picture etc. But then it went bad in 18 months so..... Only lasted 18 months so I can't recommend it, these things should last MUCH longer than that.
I purchased this tv in June 2020 at Best Buy. Today while I was watching tv a small flame and sparks started flying out from behind the tv. Scared the crap out of me . TV is a goner.TV not even 4 yrs old. I trusted Samsung as a good investment. Now I'm afraid to buy another Samsung TV . I still have my bill but I didn't purchase the extra warranty
bought back in june 2019 and it is now july 2022. the right backlight strip went out, and then the left backlight strip went out. then suddenly, the left backlight strip started to burn the pixels (turned black), and then a burning/smokey smell came from the unit. i quickly unplugged the unit. i only used the tv for 4k gaming and as a 1440p 2nd monitor for pc. please avoid these samsung entry-level tvs. it's not worth it.
just recently this foam seal is pulling away from the tv around the edge. it blocks the view off the edge of the tv. samsung said it isn't covered by the manufacture warranty, so i would have to spend the money out of pocket to service it instead. this is really disappointing since i have only owned samsung tvs over the past 15yrs and have never had issues. it may be time to move on though.
