After years of using a different brand fitness tracker, I finally decided to give Garmin a chance. Although it was a little bit if a learning curve to learn it's features, I'm absolutely in love with it! Not only is it beautiful, but the extra features that it has compared to my last tracker makes it well worth the change.
I bought this watch about a month ago and have been extremely pleased so far. Easy setup with app and great features. Have not had time to try the golf aspect yet (due to temps) but looking forward to this In the spring. Phone calls work great and love that it tracks SO much about health. Great watch, would definitely buy it again.
My wife got me this watch as a gift, and it is awesome. So many features! It even lets me make and receive phone calls right on the watch! We use Garmin GPS units in all our vehicles, even on our motorcycles. So I was happy to learn Garmin makes smart watches as well. I can even make a custom watch face using my own photo, which makes it the perfect watch for a certain.. seasonal job I do..
My Garmin keeps me on track with Every move I make -
A true fitness watch with many clicks and buzzers (literally) that will be there for the user. The hydration feature does not work ( I was warned of that) and the phone feature is difficult to set up. The watch face feature is fun to play with. I love some of the analog faces. The 'get up and start moving' feature can be a bit annoying but can deleted. I do enjoy seeing my bio outputs. All in all a rather amazing watch
Got this for my birthday, I was unsure about the watch, but it has helped me focus more on getting more exercise daily next to my dog, here and then I do the EGC, I see my records in the Garmin Connect App and the website itself, However, I was expecting more compatibility with Google Maps so that I can rely on the watch giving voice instructions, peaking here and then the turns, traffic lights, eta while driving instead of the GPS phone PD: Hope we can get updates to use more apps especially google maps through this watch. Overall, I love it, thanks for building this.
I like everything about it it's not a apple watch couple of features That it Lex that it shouldn't lex But overall i give it four stars
I bought this watch about a month ago. I really like the features- the display is sharp with good color, the workout options are great, and there's plenty of useful info. Unfortunately my watch glass broke while doing yard work. In fairness it does appear something small hit the glass, but I don't recall striking anything. I've worn other watches which I know have received hard hits that had less damage than this watch. It does still work so that's a plus.
Do not waste your money on this watch if you want the ECG function to work properly with AFib conditions like I have. When in AFIB my heart rate typically shoots to 140's bpm, but the ECG app cannot check for AFib heart rhythms if my heart rate is over 120 bpm? That is what AFib is Garmin, a high fluttery heart rate!!! I utilized my wife's Apple watch instead and it detected AFib instantly with my heart rate at 150 bpm! The only reason I purchased this watch is for the ECG to detect when I was in AFib so I could track it for my doctor. Coming from a Fenix 3, I loved the long battery life and expected the same with the Venu 2 Plus versus a daily charge with the Apple watch. Now I wish I can get a refund!
I bought the Garmin 6 weeks ago after many many years with another smartwatch brand. They always last about a year or two and then start failing, so I decided to try a Garmin. The garmin is nice but the face of the watch scratches super easily. One pays a lot of money for a garmin over the competitors, so one would think they would have scratch resistant glass but if so, mine sure isn't effective. I am super disappointed and wouldn't buy another Garmin. It looks worse than any of my previous 2+ year old smartwatches.
