So much better (than Apple's little square plug or a generic off brand plug) for only a couple dollars more. Charges so much faster! Didn't understand that aspect of the difference between plugs. A clerk pointed out what to look for on the label - Glad I found out before trying to save a couple bucks!
This apple charger while for iPad works perfectly for the most recent iPhones beginning with the iPhone 6. It takes about an hr off the total charge time and doesn't harm the battery of the phone. It's a genuine apple charger so it also has the one year warranty .
There's nothing flashy or overly exciting about this product, but it does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. Also, buying this model instead of the smaller one keeps you covered for all of your iPhone/iPad/iPod charging needs. Order online with site-to-store for a slight discount over some in store prices.
Necessary for IPad but great for iPhone and iPods-charges very quickly because of the higher voltage. Purchased as an extra charger for family use- it's now the "go to" charger. Definitely recommend.
Pair this with Apples power adapter extension cable (I can only find that through apple) and you'll basically have Apples original iPad charger. The cord is very durable. http://store.apple.com/xc/product/MK122LL/A
Seller states this is an Apple charger, this item chargers Apple products but it is not 100% Apple. The charging brick for both I purchased were genuine Apple however the duck heads (the piece that connects the charging brick into the wall) didn't fit on the brick correctly, was a shade different, and didn't show Apple info. Would not recommend
The adaptor became dangerously overheated when plugged in. It burned my finger when I touched it so I immediately unplugged it from the wall and iPad for fear of causing a fire. I need to return it.
This is not an authentic apple product. I am disappointed. It also does not correctly charge my devices the way a large base should.
Iâve bought genuine Apple OEM products through secondary channels here on walmart.com and elsewhere before. They were legit. This one, however, looks like a bad knockoff. Was not in factory sealed box. Blue plastic is not Apple. Markings appear to be off-center and not matching other legit 12w adapters I have. AC prongs very stiff, does not swing into position without significant force. This feels like a fake, and I will see about getting a refund, despite vendor âpurchase policyâ.
This product is not from Apple. It arrives unpackaged and is an apparent knock-off. See the photo attached.
