Easy to set up but do download the manual. Nice finger sized buttons on remote instead of the mouse paw sized others use. Plenty of power for a bedroom system. HDMI inputs make this unit unique
I've been searching for a replacement for Technics stereo receiver that would be short enough to fit on a 6” tall shelf. I was find this receiver that was the right size and had all of the features that I was looking for plus a few I wasn't expecting. Set up was easy and the sound is great, I couldn't be happier. It's a perfect fit.
i finally retired my Marantz 1060 amp. so i thought i would try this one. so far its a good unit. but i do miss not having my midrange controll. Also wish i would have got a manual with it so i could learn how to use all the features and the remote.
Very easy to set up, a great app that works flawlessly every time. A lot of inputs and HDMI arc out ,5 in. I use it as a preamp together with MM7025. But I got 1 pair of small B&W speakers mounted in NR1200 and some bigger ones in MM 7025 ….What??? Does that work ….Yes ,and very much so! I also got 4 subwoofers ,2 asw600 10” and 2 Yamaha 8” it's a perfect combo for my wallet, and as a kitchen stereo set. Yes ,I'm single 😎😀🤟 The sound quality from Marantz is amazing,clean and clear and for the money very very good quality sound. I can recommend this amp if you want a stereo amp and also like to watch Tv with a good quality sound. Good luck 😊
Great little amplifier with HDMI input/output. Needed something to push my Bose 901s and this does the job. Not as much wattage as my old Kenwood, but has a nice clear sound. Primarily for XM radio, but also for CD player, TV and DVD player.
I purchased the Marantz NR1200 to replace an older stereo receiver with no HDMI inputs. Setup of the NR1200 was easy using the on-screen prompts and menus. The sound quality is excellent also, and it drives my Digital Phase AP .7s very well. Great value for the money!!
Well designed integrated amp. Really like the musicality, clean non distorted sound. Works well with my MM Turntable, and Marantz CD player. Especially like the HEOS functionality. Plenty of power to drive a pair of Focal Aria 936 speakers. With a decent amount of extended bass. Clean power, no distortion, low noise floor, and easy to enjoy at different volume levels. Only cons, you need a monitor to set configuration. I purchased to be a 2 channel system. I setup with monitor then carried a cross house to setup in 2 channel room.
Sound is really stellar, if you have to have hdmi and a 2ch stero setup, this is a very solid. Great bang for the buck piece of gear!
Excellent device hardware wise. Plenty of features and connectivity options. Receiver sounds nice. There is a room for improvement regarding software - HEOS platform. Built-in Chromecast support would be nice to have.
This receiver doesn't have enough bass or treble. Overall it lacks power and the sound is not great at all. I'm returning it
