I purchased this heater (2 of them actually) because after spending an arm and a leg during the summer to fix my central air, now the electric panel on my central heating has decided to go out!! The quote to repair it blew my mind so, in the interim, I purchased 2 of these heaters. Can you say WARM AND TOASTY??!!! I have VERY high ceilings & an open floor and yet my family has awaken to a warm and toasty home!! The digital remote and timer are a big plus as well!!
so far a great unit set it up and it does the rest I cant say enough about this heater moves air around on and off when it reaches temp quit I already put one in the basement shop the first one worked so well you will be impressed no I don't work for the company I am just a man that likes things that work !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This space heater throws out a lot of heat. The oscillation feature works nice, the remote is nice, the price is right. The construction of the base is sort of chintzy, but looks like it will be fine as long as it doesn't get much abuse. I wouldn't want to have it in a room with rowdy kids. Perfect for me.

My only complaint is the temperature reading is not accurate. I know it is not 80 degrees in my house when the heater reads that temperature. I keep my house around 68 at night and set the heater for 72 in the bedrooms. My central heat run more than the heater at that setting. I had to set the heater for 77 to get a comfortable temp at night. So, it's about 5 degrees off.
I love Lasko products, I had another Lasko heater similiar to this one for five years or more. I gave it to my daughter and it is still functioning. This heater heats an area of 15x21. I love the remote that comes with it. The temperature control on the remote is manageable and excellent. It gets too hot sometimes that I have to adjust it to a lower temperature.
Got this heater to alternate with another cabinet quartz heater to use in our very large living room area (900-1000sq ft). We had wanted another identical cabinet heater to the one we had just purchased one month earlier but they were now "out of stock." The cabinet quartz heater (same 1500w) works incredibly well heating the room and keeping it warm enough that our heating/air unit does not come on. This heater does not quite keep it warm enough and there is a noticeable difference when this heater runs compared to the other. Therefore, I thought I would try using it in my master bedroom (750-800 sq ft) just to knock the chill out of the air before bedtime. It took about 2 hours for it to raise the temp in my bedroom just 2 degrees. I think it may be great for smaller rooms but really prefer the other heater to this one. Oh, also there is some assembly required with this one as well.
I bought this for my medium sized bedroom and I'm pleased with how it works and heats very quickly and keeps the room very warm. It gets so warm that I can have it on for a half hour and keep it off for many hours after. The weather has been kinda mild, but I believe when it's colder it will keep me warm as well. I especially love that it comes with the remote control so I don't have to get up to turn it off and also that it has a timer so if I fall asleep it will automatically turn off to the time I set it to.
Worst item I ever bought. I want to return it. It keeps falling apart. I tried tapping it and it didn't work. I'll return it.
