My favorite pair of headphones to date are the JBL Reflect Mini2, and the only way they could get any better in my humble opinion is if the wire connecting the left and right earpieces were not there. Well, here you go! These Free "truly wireless" headphones are great! I had to try a few combinations of the gel sleeves and ear tips to find the right fit for me, but once you've got it they feel great. The only problem, if you could call it that, is that they're so light that I keep having to check to see if they'd fallen out. Once you get used to that, you are left to enjoy wonderful JBL sound with no wires to tie you down. They pair immediately to my iPhone XS Max, and have never yet dropped the connection. The charging case is well constructed, and a nice size. Although, given their incredible battery life, it seems that you'll use it just to keep them safe more than to actually charge them. I have been using my JBL Free earphones for several weeks now, pretty much everyday. They are so light and the fit is so perfect, when I changed the ear cover to the smaller size, that after a few seconds I forget I'm even wearing them. They charge really fast and so far I've never come close to using up the battery. The sound quality for me is excellent. I listen to audiobooks more than music but sound quality is really important there too. When someone is reading a book to you it can sound muddy and distant, even with the volume turned up. But with these JBL Frees the vocal track is so clear and clean it sound like they are sitting right next to you. when I do listen to music though the overall sound is great. The bass is rick but not booming and the highs are very bright, even at low volumes. I really like being able to wear only the right earphone by itself. My previous Bluetooth earphones were connected with a cord that always got caught on stuff when I only wore one in my ear. I like to use them at work and with one earphone I can still hear whats going on around me and know right away if someone wants my attention. I also use only one when I'm doing chores on the weekend. I really like that when only the right earphone is connected to Bluetooth the stereo automatically become mono so you can hear all the tracks in one side. That is fantastic. Lastly, and I don't know if this was planned or not, but I usually use them before I go to sleep and when I turn off the lights and put them back in the cradle I'm greeted with this small smiley face. I got these headphones last week and I have really enjoyed using them. The sound is very clear and they have a very a solid bass. When I call people on them they don't have any issues hearing me which is also a plus! I mainly use them in the gym and when I workout I don't worry that they are going to fall out, I can move around and they stay secure in my ears. The charging case is really cool and the magnetic feature allows for easy plug-in of each headphone. The battery in both the headphones and case last a long time, I can get multiple workouts in on a single charge. The button on the side of the headphone allow for the songs to be changed or to be paused. I would like if the button was a little less difficult to press but its not that bad. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quality music experience. I have tried other in-ear headphones and these are definitely the best I have tried. Just recently received this ear buds and Loved them from the unboxing. Earbuds felt very sturdy and well built,which did not surprise me since they were JBL. I do have several JBL products which I love, they are always well built and easy to use. These earbuds were no different very easy to setup and use. Connected to my Iphone quickly and easily.The sound of these JBL Free x earbuds was awesome very clear and crisp. I will definitely use these as my go to earbuds for travel and when out for jog. The only downside I found was in the quick setup guide was using the buttons on the earbuds to change things, I don't completely understand the different symbols and what they mean (this could just easily be a age thing).Buds come with a charging case which is very easy to use and carry.They also come with extra ear pieces to size according to you preference, I know i will use these for a very long time as my go to buds. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've previously used wired headphones for all my listening, so these were a great change of pace. I use them mainly for working out and running; they work really well and make me feel a lot less restricted. The fitment and seal in the ear is the best I've experienced, they are very tight and comfortable are also great at blocking out noise. They've never gotten close to falling out either. I listen to a wide range of different music and the Free X's seemed to handle it all very well. The highs and lows sound where they should be and they don't distort the music as the volume increases. I'm able to listen at a higher volume than most of my other headphones while the music still sounds good and enjoyable. They always connected to each other and my phone almost instantly and never had problems disconnecting. The charging case that came with them is very sturdy and does a good job of holding the earphones in place while charging. The magnetic feature on the charging port is a handy feature too. Overall the Free X's are super sleek and are great at what they are supposed to be, in ear wireless earphones. Would recommend!

These are very light weight, fit tightly in my ears and do not fall out. They are the most comfortable earbuds and don't hurt my ears to sleep in, while listening to my ambient music.The sound quality is FANTASTIC, high quality stereo sound with surround sounds as if coming from every direction. The volume can turn up very loud too, for the times I want to really jam out. The buttons are easy to press and navigate. Over all I'm very impressed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow...These JBL Free X bluetooth earbuds are packed with so many great features I love. There is only one downside to these and I will get to that later in this review. There is no doubt the R&D team did an outstanding job to produce an earbud with great sounding music while also keeping in mind the fit, functionality, and style. I will start off buy saying right out of the box the Free X earbuds were charged and ready to be synced with my android phone. Pairing them to my phone only took seconds. So back to opening the box....you will see JBL took pride in their product by packing these so nicely. You will open the box to a nice looking round earbud carry case...small enough to fit in your pocket, the Free X earbuds, charging cable, and several different sizes of ear cups. The Free X earbuds fit nicely into the round carry case with also serves as the charging base. The earbuds sit right inside, neatly tucked in while they charge. I was able to put the earbuds in the carry case into my pocket without my workout pants looking to bulky. I also put them in my gym bag without them taking up to much room. The carry case outer texture isn't too slick, rather it is made of a soft material making it easy to grip. The earbuds themselves fit comfortably into my ear that once I have them in, they are easily forgotten about. No pain, no hot spots, and they aren't too loose to where they will just fall out. I have jogged several miles, worked out at the YMCA, played Pickleball, and I do my outside chores with these in my ears without any issues of them needing to be adjusted. The sounds....oh SO NICE!!! Very clear not to tinny and yet there is good bass. I listen to several types of genre, so having highs, mids, and lows speaks volumes to the clarity and sound produced by these little earbuds. With the volume 1/4 the way up, I can't hear anyone talking. There is only one thing I would have liked to see incorporated with the small carrying case. The carry case lacks the ability to store the charging cable which means it is a separate piece to carry and possibly forgotten. If the case had a pull out cord that retracted back into the case that would be nice. Or the case could be a tad bit bigger allowing me to store the short charging cable inside with the earbuds. I give this 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up because of the sounds quality, the fit, the nice carrying case, and because of how easy they are to use.
Got these for christmas and thought they would stay in my ears pretty good because of the silicone ear pieces, but they fall out all of the time. While Im working out, just walking and they have even fallen in the sink... so I guess one good thing is that they are durable for what i’ve experienced so far. sound quality isn’t too bad. also the bluetooth connection is very poor. you have to take them out of the charging case in order for them to connect to your device. Half the time they won’t connect and i have to continuously place them back in the case and take them out until they both will connect. Sometimes only one will connect. Honestly wish I would have just went with AirPods and spent the extra money. Very disappointed considering JBL is known to have good speakers. I guess that doesn’t apply for their earphones.
I bought these headphones about a year ago and I didn't use them for a while because they were too big for my ear (even with the smallest size jell insert) and would fall out just while I was walking around. I just now started using them at a desk job and they have been fine since I am not moving around. HOWEVER, the battery is now inflating and it has a round bulge on the back of the headphones. Not to mention, the top piece is popping out more and more every time I charge them. They are no longer holding a charge over an hour and neither is the case. I think the battery is going bad. Which is ridiculous considering they are not that old. I will definitely have to look into buying another brand of wireless headphones soon. Make the investment and go with Air Pods that are going to last longer and have better capabilities.
I bought these a few years ago. They are decent but hardly any bass. Also the fact that they started SMOKING AND MELTED on my countertop one day. Once I saw the smoke I quickly ran the case outside. It had a small explosion and the battery popped out. I took video of the whole thing and sent it to JBL. No water damage, they were not plugged in. No idea why they were defective. If they were on my couch, bed or in my car it could have caught fire. I did not want the same kind of ear buds but eventually they finally sent me new ones but the same model. They definitely did not want to send me replacements.
