I am giving it a 5 because strong and sturdy is hard to come by! Packaged well. There are 4 easy steps to put it together. (Pictures to follow). I am an older woman and needed MUSCLE to push the roller wheels into the base, but managed on my own. I am shorter so the lower height setting is good for me, but it adjusts easily! Other reviewers confirmed it held their (larger size) weight which confirmed QUALITY! Just ONE thing to be aware of, which I read in the reviews, its seat has a smooth polished finish which makes it slippery. It may require your hand to steady it while sitting and getting up. I bought it to accommodate a smaller access seating area for my desk when I relocated it. My previous roller chair with a back would not fit the available space. This one is a perfect fit and worth the money. Many colors to choose from!
So much sturdier and well made than we anticipated! Purchased for a busy 2 person office to pair with matching black Parson's desks. Ordered the white and they look super sharp with the desks. We need to collaborate quite a bit and retrieve items while working at our desks-and we scoot around and swivel on these with ease. Double as extra chairs at the meeting every week too. Love! Thinking of buying 4 more to use as dining table seating at our cabin.
I love it! I ordered this tractor seat desk chair as I start my business, in honor of my stepdad who recently passed (and who loved his tractor). Its sturdy - the wheels are simple, not as superb as the rest of the chair - and the color is beautiful.
My son loves this and so does everyone who sees it. It is amazingly comfortable.
Love this chair! Paid $70 for a fancier chair and ordered this one as a extra chair and realized it was more comfortable than the more expensive chair. Really easy to put together...3 minutes or less.
This stool is so helpful. Wish I would have bought one ages ago. Easy to put together.
This stool is very sturdy and the seat is comfortable......BUT, think about who will be using it and for what purpose. The seat is EXTREMELY slick. One reason I got it is because the wheels do not stick out as much as some, do easier to move around. I had hoped that the lowest height would be a little lower. I have mobility issues and wanted it to sit on while cleaning the bathroom and low cabinets, but because of the slick seat, I am afraid to lean forward enough for fear of sliding off the seat. I will try to think of something to attach to make the seat less slippery.
Easily assembled. Could be an issue if you don't sit on it in the lowest position first before raising. I have tile floors and it rolls easily. It backed up as I lowered my self onto it in the highest position. Could have fallen if I wasn't watching. Otherwise, it is just what I wanted and at a reasonable price.
2 weeks of use - The seat surface is super slick!! Be very careful when sitting or rolling, your bottom will slide right off the seat. The stool seems sturdy, but the seat surface does not accommodate BIG bottoms, it is probably fine for small/average sized children or teens (on a soft surface, that is).
I ordered 3 of these stools. The up and down adjustable mechanism in one is not working at all. The stool is raised to full height and will not go down. Another one will not stay raised, when sat on it goes down to the lowest adjustment. The third one seems to be working fine at this point. Have only had the stools 7 days.
