I ordered my class ring through wal*mart because it was cheaper. Most class rings arrrive in several months, and wal*mart told me to expect it within 4-6 weeks. I GOT IT IN TWO!!! I was amazed and thrilled. Thanks a ton Wal*Mart! you saved me some cash that i can put towards my car!
I lost my original class ring and its been almost 20 years sense then. For some reason it always kinda bugged me that I lost it. I didnt want to spend another $300.00 plus on one but I wasnt sure I would like this ring and Im so glad I was wrong and ordered it anyway. I love the ring and I feel better having one again. Seems odd but I do feel better. Thank you. I only waited three weeks.
I recently ordered a replacement ring as my 35 yr old ring had been stolen a yr ago. I must say I am extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the ring and would strongly recommend this product !
I had this ring made for my graduation year of 1977, as my original ring is too small, and cannot be resized. The quality of the ring is great! The designs are crisp and clear. The stone sparkles! A great value for those on a budget!
Very nice looking ring. Arrived sooner than expected. Very pleased
All in all I really like this ring, and I hope to give an informative review about my experience. I got it a few month ago and have worn it 24/7 since, so it's gotten a little bit of ware by now; I also got it in the cheapest metal I could (another review talked about it dulling. I don't know what metal they got it in and so for all I know it was just the silver tarnishing, but I haven't had that happen in any case.) The engraving inside is nice (I can't remember if it was script or normal writing), it was little hard to see at first but has gotten easier to see... [shrug]. My biggest complaint was mentioned by someone else as well, but I couldn't figure out what they were trying to say had happened. I tried to include a picture, but the shield on the side lost it's color. Originally my shield was blue and white. The white side is still there, although looks like it might give out soon; but the blue side is gone. Whatever substance filled the little compartment fell out (it almost looked powdery after the top wore away, so maybe it's just cheap? I noticed it after having washed the dishes with it (so it was in hot water for a while), although that doesn't mean that's what caused it) Despite that, the ring is still nice and I don't regret choosing it over the (at the very least) $200 ring provided by the school sponsored company. My ring also did come with a warranty, not quite as good as what I understand Josten's offers, but still good. There is something in the warranty about making repairs, which would probably include the shield(?), but it's not that important to me anyway. It's very pretty, it's proportionally a good size, it has all the information I wanted on it (school, year, mascot, etc..), and the shield is between my fingers enough that it's not obvious. It's everything I wanted my class ring to be. At the same time, I didn't really want much out my ring as I'm fully aware that in a few years it will most likely just sit in my jewelry box. So I may also be an easy customer to please. I hope to have been helpful!
The engraving inside is barely visible. The lettering around the stone isn't as crisp as it appears in the picture. The stone isn't as bright and shiny, or as transparent as it appears in the picture. Looks more like cloudy glass.
I received this ring for my 2003 high school graduation and in 2005 the plastic part that covers the whatever you put in the stone design had popped off and wouldnt do anything about it so im wondering if i should even buy my college ring from me cuse my mom has already waisted her money, should have went somewhere else to get the class ring.
I purchased this ring for my daughter who graduated from high school last year. The ring is beginning to fade after one year!! I am soooooo disappointed!!
Got this exact ring, at first it came all new and shiny, 3 months later not even part of the emblem had fallen off the shield for my high school school colors. I was super upset with that happening. Would not recommend this product to anybody, It's the only class ring I could afford at the time, but I should've waited and went with the official company with the school because they come with a warranty. I attached the picture before and after part of the shield fell off.
