I included this glass set in a house warming gift and my friend was thrilled with the look and feel of these glasses.
These glasses are for grown folks. As a child, I remember the grown folk always used glass and the kids plastic cups. Well, I am one of the grown people. And I wanted a drinking glasses that felt heavy in my hand. Instead of thin and cheap. I read all of the reviews and decided to order the Manchester from Anchor Hocking. Whether I am drinking an adult beverage or apple cider vinegar w/water, I will use the Anchor Hocking Manchester Drinkware. Thank you Walmart.com this is an outstanding product.
I purchased these glasses before by Anchor in green and loved them. I love the weight of these glasses and how much they hold. The style is forever and they are easy to hold. I hate glassware that feels so fragile it will break in your hands and For this price I couldn't beat it. I am also very satisfied with the clear.
We are very happy with this purchase. These glasses are very heavy and well made. The biggest plus is that they are made in the USA. If my husband is pleased with them then they have definitely earned their five star rating.
Beautiful glasses. They have nice weight in your hand. Nice for iced tea or rum and coke drinks!
If you need a heavy duty glass, these are perfect and the price was great.
I knew; that when I saw over eighty user reviewers giving an average of 9 stars out of 10, I knew; that these glasses were worth checking out. When I got them; I was even further more impressed by the weight, and feel of these glasses. These glasses are more heavy duty than any I've ever had. I am so impressed; that I'm tempted to buy another set; ''just because''. The packaging was great; the shipping, the pricing, and everything, was just Great !! This is the Best set of glasses I've ever had !
I ordered these when I was down to 2 of my favorite glasses, 1 tall & 1 short. I Googled pics of them & found these by Anchor Hocking. I had read there were differences between now & when I got mine around 20 years ago but the reviews on multiple sites were all favorable. The difference between then & now is the bottom of the glasses. Instead of being a smooth bottom they indented the glass to save money. The short glass is all around smaller when compared side by side to the original but still a solid glass. I prefer heavy solid glasses so these work well for me since they do not break easily like many of the super thin glasses on the market. I was reminded of why I hate thin glasses when I was putting 1 away the other day, it slipped out of my hand & shards went flying everywhere. One shard sliced the side of my foot on its way to the floor so I am happy to no longer deal with those. For the quality & price I would order them again but would most likely just get the tall glasses alone.
the glasses arrive and some more broken what should I do
I received this item with cups having cracks, and one with a dip in the top of the rim. Poorly made!
