I have used this product every night for over 20 years because of dry eye syndrome due to chemotherapy and gvhd. I love it! The proportion of the mix between the formula that is used is ideal for soothing relief as well as keeping my eyes lubricated throughout the night.
my doctor recommended this because of very dry eyes. I had cornea transplant and use it 4 times a day. It makes everything blurry so do not drive. I also have to put it on with fingertip which is easiest for me. Eventuality will only need it at night, keeps eye moist.
Husband was having ongoing problems with his eyes feeling scratchy and dry. Went to eye doctor to make sure he didn't have fiberglass or something in it somewhere. He had tried eye washes, etc. Eye doctor checked him out and told him to use this. We think it may be caused by the air blowing from his CPAP mask. It seems to have helped.
If you have dry eyes, this product is a must at night. It does need to be put in your eyes just before going to sleep, as it causes TEMPORARY blurry eyes. I am able to walk from the bathroom to the bedroom once it's in my eyes, but reading for a while might be difficult. Good name, it does refresh my eyes and helps eliminate the pain and discomfort of my dry eyes.
I've been using refresh products for years. Preservatives free. This ointment is a life save for severe dry eyes and corneal erosion. I use day and night. I also apply around my eye lids for moisture. I prefer this over my liquid drops sometimes. Longer lasting.
This product is the best on the market. Its formula composition is different from other eye ointment products, and it sure works!! I have dry eyes, and they feel so comfortable when I wake up the next day. No scratchiness, no redness. Just comfort.
Our Optometrist prescribed Refresh PM for our dry eyes. She said there are many products available but Refresh PM is the best. In fact, that has proved to be the case - our dry eye symptoms have decreased greatly. We have had periodic difficulty obtaining Refresh PM over the last several years - apparently due to at least two recalls. In fact, we thought that Walmart had cancelled our standing order.
My dog has "dry eye" and this is perfect for overnight so she can sleep in comfort. Their artificial tears and Rx drops are for during the day to keep her eyes moist. I'm so glad this ointment is available for nights or even long car trips.
my doctor told me to use this at night for my dry eyes and just a little in each eye does the trick. now I use it every night and use a soft kleenex to wipe my eyes when I wake up, then I can use Paday eye drops. I say this if you have severe eye allergy and dry eyes you should use pm eye ointment and Paday eye drops it really works.
Manufacturer doesn't safety seal the tube, the box in which the tube was enclosed in arrived crushed in an envelope so I just don't trust that the actual tube hasn't been tampered with. Although I ordered via shipping, the order changed to delivery from store via someone's personal vehicle. I've never purchased eye products which don't come with a tamper resistant seal around the tube, very poor manufacturing decision to save themselves a few pennies. In this day and age something as important as eye ointment that goes inside your eyes needs to be tamper-proof.
