I would highly recommend this Deluxe 2 bicycle carier. It it easy to assemble and rides smooth on the back of the car. Easy to load and unload bikes. Very good product. You must get a chain lock to secure the bikes I recommend getting the Key Cable Lock i like the key better than a combination lock..

This was the easiest bike rack that I could have put on my car. It is very intuitive and works well.

This model fits both our vehicles, car & suv. Have looked at other products and it works great. First use was a trip on highway. Was impressed at how sturdy it was with two bikes on it thru construction zone.

Great deal for your money. Would have been excellent if it had straps to hold it from side to side.

The rack is good for someone looking for a general bike rack to get one or two bikes around in the general area. Very easy to attach to the car. Quality of the frame seems to be very durable. Not sure if I would want to travel very long distances with the rack, but it is very reliable for riding within your region or city.

Great Quality Bike Rack, Doesn't fit Scion tC

Upon ordering this bike rack, I couldn't find a list that specified whether or not it would work with my vehicle. When I received it and looked at the instructions, I found out that it would work with certain hatchbacks, just not those with a glass roof. I have an '05 Scion tC, the bike rack's top straps need to hook to the edge of a piece of metal (usually trunk lid). The Scion has a glass hatchback and the instructions specify not to attach to glass. Thus, I was unable to use the product. Nevertheless, this product did come with very good instructions and as long as you don't have a glass hatch-roof like my tC does, you should be able to use and enjoy this product.

This is my third bike carrier, and easily the best. I had to struggle, slightly, initially to wrestle it into the proper configuration for my car, a Corolla. Once I had that, it attaches easily and securely, the bikes attach easily. If the instructions were clearer, I would probably not have had to struggle quite so much. Lost a star there. The bikes don't sway when you drive, the carrier does not bounce away from the car. The rubber cradles and Velcro straps on the bike support rail keep the bikes secure and snugly attached. By the way, the carrier stores easily in my basement. One issue is stowing the extra length of straps when in use. I used rubber bands (elastics in New England) to keep them from flapping in the breeze as I drove. Not a big deal, just a tip. If I had it to do over I might get a three bike unit, instead of the the two bike unit. Did I mention, I really like this product? The instructions, not as much.

This is a basic bike carrier. No bells and whistles. Easy to install. I did take extra precaution to wrap the trunk clips with swatches of old towels to avoid scratches or scuff marks. The rack doesn't have side-to-side secure straps, but if you're just taking your bike to the park, you should be fine. There is some "play" with the bike swinging on the rack which can be eliminated by the way you secure the excess strapping around it. Again, for the money, this is a good product.

Overpriced, Cheap, Waste of Money

I have owned this bike rack for several years now. Mine is a slightly older version, which is pretty much the same except for it is all black except for the red locking buttons, and has a 3rd swinging bar in the middle which seems to be completely useless and just gets in the way. The directions that come with this rack are very minimal and not very helpful at all. The weakest link on this rack are the rubber cradles which hold the bike onto the rack with a velcro strap. Well, the spot where the velcro feeds through the rubber is extremely thin, less than 1/4 inch wide. The velcro obviously needs to be cinched down to keep the bike in place. The front set of rubber cradles broke at this point in less than 6 months of reasonable (not heavy) use. For the record, I always removed the rack from the car when not in use, and stored it in the garage, so the rubber breaking is not due to sun or weathered damage. It's just a cheap, poor design. The rubber cradles also slide back and forth on the pole they are attached to, which is annoying. Also, the straps that mount onto the car don't seem to take much jostling for them to come loose, especially the two on the bottom. Numerous times I got to my destination, only to find one or both of the bottom straps dangling free, having come loose from the bumper even though I know I tightened them very well. This means that the bike rack was really only held onto my car by the support of the two top straps. And again, it isn't difficult to wiggle them out of place even with the heavy bike on the rack. Thank God I never lost my mountain bike on any bumpy dirt roads! Overall, this rack isn't absolutely horrible. It does function for what it's meant to do. But I only ever used it on short distance trips of a few miles from my home to my favorite bike trails. I would never, ever trust this rack to hold up for a long distance trip on the back of my car over many miles. Had I the chance to do it over again, I would never have wasted money on this overpriced, poorly-designed bike rack. I learned my lesson. As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for".

Terrible!! I recieved a bicycle rack used. When I opened the box, the strings were all tangled, without the rubber band.
