I was just an older lady watching videos %26 happened upon one that proclaimed that I should use yellow to hide my dark circles. Now, of course, they were selling VERY expensive concealer but I used my tried %26 true Maybelline %26 y'all it really works!
I have been using this concealer for nearly 20 years. I've tried others but they're too watery. Always come back to the Cover Stick Corrector Concealer. Quick swipe and blend with fingers or sponge, set with a sheer powder and I look flawless all day. Not heavy...I don't even feel like I have make up on. Please, PLEASE don't discontinue this product just because it's not hip enough for the youngsters!
I've used this product for over 15 yrs. I rate this coverage.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good product for the price. It goes on easily and foundation covers it with no issues. I have noticed tho, it doesnt last all day. If I plan on going out for dinner, I usually have to reapply the concealer and also recover with foundation. I have bought more expensive concealer and didnt have that issue. For the price....it will do just fine.
The product does help improve the overall appearance of the skin. It is useful in reducing the appearance of uneven coloring. It doesn't correct skin problems but does alleviate them somewhat.
This cover stick broke apart as i was opening the package. Also went on "Very Heavy" and was hard to Apply and smooth in evenly on my face. it did cover the redness and irritated Acne prone skin, but i had to add another brand over top to look good for a virtual meeting.
The top of the stick is broken off and smeared inside the sealed package. How does that even happen?
The color that I ordered was a deep beige. The item I received was a color for very fair skin. My son uses it to cover blemishes. He cant use what was sent because its way, way too light.
The product came completely broken, unusable.
The formula is definitely NOT the same as it used to be. I've been using an old stick that says Maybelline LIGHT Memphis TN and thought I should get a new one before I run out. So I bought this product from an online store (not from this seller) same sealed package and color as shown in this stock photo. When I unwrapped the package and twisted the the tube up, the product fell over onto the counter. It was so soft, slippery and gooey I could hardly pick it up. (New tube says Maybelline IVORY Montreal Canada.)
