After searching at baby furniture stores and online, this changing table topped off my checklist. It's classy, matches with my baby's crib, it's reasonably priced, it's sturdy, and was easy to assemble. I didn't want to spend too much on something my baby would outgrow rapidly. The drawer doesn't glide smoothly like stated in the description, but that doesn't really matter. I absolutely love and recommend this changing table.
We spent about 2 week choosing a changing table. Those are either very expensive or not a reliable quality. I would say we accidentally ended up on Walmart web-site and found this changing table. Received it really quickly to our Walmart store for self pick-up. It took me about 1 hour to assemble it. No missing parts, everything fits perfectly. Feels very firm and very nice looking (comparing to many others in the stores). The only con is that the drawer is a little loose in it rails but it not a very big deal. I really doubt that there are changing tables which can beat this one's price/quality. To be honest, I was expecting a lot less for this money and was looking for a temporary solution but ended up being very happy with the purchase. It also has a vinyl changing pad with it, which I found convenient to use but we had ordered a separate one earlier. It fits ok too. I had a special request from my wife to have the changing table with wheels.. I bought a set of wheels at Home Depot and attached them within 15 minutes (need a drill). Look like it has always been there :) See attached photo. But if you want to do the same, make sure you understand associated additional safety risk. Do not move the table with your child on it. Thanks to Storkcraft and Walmart for the product. Highly recommended! PS Now we are waiting for the Storkcraft crib to be delivered. It takes a little longer for that one.
We bought this for our daughter who was due in March 2007. Very easy assembly. No problems whatsoever with it! My husband and I are both very pleased with this changing table. Our daughter is now 10 months old and absolutely no problems with the board under the changing table, it's held up just fine with no issues. I highly recommend this changing table!
This changing table is beautiful and sturdy. I didn't like the changing pad that came with it, but I just went out and bought a thicker one for about 20 bucks. Overall, it is sturdy and beautiful!
My husband and I love the changing table! It is well worth the money we spent on it. It was very easy to put together also! The color is a nice cherry and has lots of space to store baskets, diapers, and ect.
I bought this changing table b/c I didn't want another large piece of furniture in the babies room. It is the perfect size the only this is that the tables under the changing table are actually a light wood grain color (not white). I put is together myself (6 months pregnant). It actually took me longer to put it together then the crib (I think because it comes in lots of pieces). Other then that no complaints. It looks perfect in the room and it was a good price. Love this changing table! It came in about a week earlier than expected and I put it together, alone, in about 2 hours. 2 would make it much faster. I loved that metal bars were included to put under the shelves, bc the wood piece is fairly flimsy. It matches all the other espresso pieces we ordered perfectly. The pad is fairly thin, so we will probably replace that. I think we may purchase casters to make it easy to move around :) We wont be using it until August, so how well it holds up to use, I can't say.
I love this changing table. We are expecting our first child and I loved the Storkcraft Aspen set. I wanted this changing table because it matched the dressers and crib we bought. It took a little while to assemble but was very easy. I have read some reviews that the color does not match the crib or dresser but it DOES and I'm very satisfied with our purchase!
Very classy, holds LOTS of Stuff!!! I love this changing table, but I would recomend buying the dresser with the changing table top- if you want to save money. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it and have no complaints, but thinking of the future- it holds lots of diapers and wipes now, but the crib grows with the baby, and the dresser can just be a dresser, but a changing table can't be much more than that later- the shelves are thin so don't think of using it as a book shelf- you can put baskets in it to store toys, and put blankets on it as well, I just think you might be better off saving money and getting the long dresser and a curved changing pad for the top. :) Just comming from a frugal new mom! But if you can afford to buy both- this is a GREAT changing table to have! Hope I can help!
This product we purchased along with the matching crib and dresser. We had this changing table shipped site-to-store, because shipping was free. Well the side panel was damaged when we opened the box. Luckily, my husband the handy man and past furniture store worker when in college was able to repair the broken side leg. What a hassle to have to pay the price you do for the table to get it damaged and then pay more to fix it (i.e. wood glue) Overall, once fixed it looks great! I love the color ( only sold through walmart, believe me I looked everywhere) and depite my daughter not being here yet, I dont know how well it will stand. It seems very sturdy, so we will see. Three stars!!!! It was worth the fix, because I love the color and didnt want to hassle with sending the product back.
