I have been using this since 1982! This is great for very dry or abused skin. I have eczema and it works wonders. My husband has diabetes and very dry feet. This is the best moisturizer out there! Do not use it as a frequent, after washing hands type of lotion. This is a thick cream to massage into elephant elbows, cracked and calloused feet, or anywhere needing deep moisturizing.
The only downside of this cream is that it's very stiff and it takes a bit of effort to rub it in. It's stiff because it is chock full of moisturizing ingredients. For me, using less intense products are just like pouring water over my skin, they're useless I solved this problem with the thickness by adding some macadamia oil to the cream and got it to the consistency that I like. I love the effect of macadamia oil so this is actually the best of both worlds for me. (I'm sure you'd have success with other oils I just happen to like macadamia oil). I have very sensitive skin and I have no reaction whatsoever below the neck. Just like other similar products, I cannot use it on my face and neck because they are too sensitive to basically everything.
It's going to last a long time. A little goes a long way. It's a very thick lotion you have to rub it in your hands a little to soften it up and then rub it in good so it doesn't leave a white residue. It's amazing for really dry skin! One of the best products I've ever used. Def worth the price!
My family, children, grandchildren and I have extremely sensitive skin and eczema. We range from fair to medium in skin tone and fair to severe in the severity of our eczema problems not dependent on that tone. Eucerin Original is the only thing we all agree on as it is soothing and non irritating to our skin, it never "burns", and more importantly it works to moisturize the skin.
I'm really liking this cream. I normally don't use the ingredients listed but needed some serious hand and body care. I also use a little on my face. It's caused no problems and I think my skin is better protected. Looks better too.
I've been using this cream for several years and being 71 years of age I feel it has helped me to fight the battle of cellulite! I use it after I shower. It's a little thick but it absorbs pretty quick! Once absorbed into your skin it keeps it soft and smooth for quite a while!
My skin is dry, especially heels and hands, plus living in dessert make it even dryer. I was using Golds Bond, but since I try Eucerin I am not going back to Golds Bond. Eucerin is thick and little bit difficult to put on, until it melt little bit, but after that results are amazing, so much moisture. I love it.
This is the best quick repair - rehydrate cream . I put it on mild scrapes , baby's face when teething especially . As a barrier on bottoms at diaper change . Aging dry face . Elbows , knees and work hands . It's the best !
This is wonderful. It does leave a barrier to help protect paper thin skin that can be torn easily. Either due to age or other medical conditions. A little goes a VERY LONG WAY. I put a pretty heavy coat of it on my feet before bed. I put on socks immediately after, and boom like magic over night. I have pressure points on the bottom of my feet. Love wearing high heels and femininity. However they can take a toll on your feet. I think it a wonderful product.
I love my Eucerin Original Healing Cream. I have been using this for over 45 years. My Mom used to get little 1 oz sample jars and she always made sure I had one. I use it for everything from a bug bite, and small scratches and extremely dry skin. My elbows were so dry they were almost black. It doesn't take much just barely dab your finger in it and you can rub it on the spot. They also have an Original Healing Cream Lotion that when you use with the Cream you can wash your hands 2 - 3 times pat your hands mostly dry and rub the lotion in again with out usin any more Lotion or Cream. Worth every penny you spend.
