I've been using this headset 8 hours a day for the past five days, and I must say that it's extremely comfortable, and the sound quality is GREAT. I looked at headsets costing much more, but decided to give this one a try first. I'm glad I did. This is the perfect product for someone who spends a great deal of time on the phone but must have hands free for the computer.
This is my second time purchasing this GREAT product. I work from home and use this headset every day. My first one lasted 5 years! That is an amazing life span for a headset used a few hours every day. It has great sound quality, is very comfortable to wear and is so affordable. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great headset without breaking the bank.
This headset is exceptional for the bargain price you pay. The headset can be a bit aggravating to adjust to your head at first, once you get it right, it is quite comfortable for all day wear. The leather ear piece means that your ears do not get sore, like they often do with the foam covers that scratch and redden the ear. The soft pillowlike construction of the ear piece helps to muffle outside sounds and concentrate the sound where you need it for clear and concise calls. The mic is very good at cancelling background noise and captures a crisp voice, easy to understand on the other end of the phone. The cord is ample length to add to the ease of use. A very good headset for the money.
Adjustable headband is comfortable and versitle (R or L ear); perfect size plug for my corded phone; great price and quality; my callers heard no static, no "tin" or "tunnel" sound, mic is position-able so it's not too close to my mouth; lightweight; cord is long enough for sitting at my desk (but not for walking too far away from my desk - hence 4 and not 5 stars). I definitely recommend this product.
I was disappointed that it did not fit my phone and I had to go out and spend more money to get an addaptor to fit. other than that I love the headset.
The only reason I didn't give it an overall rating of five is because the cord should have been a bit more heavy duty.
I purchased this for my father who's in a nursing home to allow him to use his cell phone more comfortably (when blue tooth headsets don't work well for him and he gets brasiions from putting earbuds in his ears). I thought I'd read through the information provided to ensure this product was universal for all 3.5mm ports of cell phones. It wasn't. This came with a 2.5mm male plug that required me to hunt down (from a competing site) an adapter that could fit it and carry microphone sound. Wasn't easy, but I did it. I wish the information on Walmart.com had been more clear, or at the very least, they also offered an adapter as a "suggested buy".
Purchased this for a work at home job. Very lightweight, plugs right into my phone. Has an inline mute switch, volume switch and mic. I don't hear any static or anything. Tested this out with my sister and at first she couldn't hear me very well but when I held the mic closer to my mouth it became better. I wear these up to 8 hours a day. I make sure not to bend them when putting them on and taking them off because they are lightweight. Very affordable, buy a second pair to keep on hand.
This headset has a decent sound quality but I can't keep it on my head and the wires are very thin. It only took about 3 weeks for the wires to break and the headset to become useless.
This Headset is good while it is working but it stops working in less then 1 year. I have have 2 now. The first I ordered from Walmart. The second one was a replacement for the first one from Plantronics as the first one was still under warranty (used 9 months). The second one only lasted 6 months and because the warranty is from original purchase date they won't even replace the 2nd one. Gave me an option to buy a new or refurbished one. I have been a big fan of Plantronics in the past but I would not recommend this items to anyone.
