Awesome Phone !!!

I bought this phone for my wife as an upgrade . It is her first smartphone and she really loves it . She has a problem with a lot of touch phones being too sensitive because she has had some damage to her hands and shakes a lot . This phone works for her perfectly . She really likes the word suggestion when texting which really makes it a lot easier for her . She also likes the camera a lot . It may not be the best camera out there but considering that we both just finally bit the bullet and gave up our old antique bar phones and stepped up a notch in the world of technology it is a huge upgrade. Would definitely recommend this phone .

There's not much to add from the other review - total agreement. Fast, wonderful memory management with Android KitKat, not overly filled with bloatware so there's room to grow, a screen protected by gorilla glass, and it's a nice screen too. 4G is amazing after living with 3G for so long and there's very little lag on the phone for running any of the apps. Connection is through AT&T so there's no problem with signal like the CDMA carrier has so much of. "Can you hear me now?" It's still new so accessories are hard to find, but that always happens on a brand new model. It's an LG phone so it won't be long before they're available by the thousands. Right now, the same phone shows on the Straight talk web site as the LG Access for $50 more than Walmart - no idea why. This is a mainstream modern phone at a budget price, people. Jump on it!

Purchased site to store. Love the features. Experienced zero problems so far. The battery is a beast compared to my past phones.

I really like the features this phone has. The only thing that is a drawback for me, but not against the phone, is that it uses AT&T tower. I do not get a very good signal out here because the closest tower is Verizon. Be sure to check out which service the phone is attached to before you purchase. The phone itself has plenty of memory, takes good photos, and easy to use. If you have a txt message come in while you are online, it will pop up in the corner.. love that feature.

Nice phone. Can't get reception inside my house.

Phone is very nice and fairly easy to use. The major problem is that I can't get reception inside my house. Seems that the only network that will get reception in my house is Verizon. Would still recommend to the phone to others that are closer to the local cell towers.

I love this phone, but there is a couple issues to address. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it started doing something weird, when I am online I press a text box to write something and the keyboard doesn't come up. I press the box several times and finally the keyboard comes up. It is very frustrating. The next issue I have is that the internet browser randomly kicks me off the internet back to my home screen. I can be on the internet for only a couple of seconds and it kicks me off. I restart my phone and the problem goes away for awhile but it comes back as well. Other than those two issues it's great. A lot of storage and the phone is fast

Screen rotation sensor was dead after 2 months. internet use not a big deal but I have to rotate every picture I take. Annoying!! Screen also turns on several times while I'm on the phone. Sometimes ending in disconnects. Other than that an okay phone.

Good Phone But A Few Issues

I have had this Android smartphone for about 2 weeks and overall its a great phone. But there are a few issues that you need to be aware of. The first is screen bleeding or back light bleeding at the bottom of the display which causes a whitish bar bleeding into the display. This can be very annoying especially when watching a video or playing a game. Another issue is the home button seems to have a useless LED light around it. The software that runs the LED in the home button is missing. The software probable got removed when TracFone converted the LG F70 to the LG Access LTE. This means that you do not have a working notification light around the home button when you get a message on the LG Access LTE. The final issue is sound quality. While it is pretty good it tends to have a constant faint buzzing noise in the background when talking to somebody. There are a few pros to this phone however, you get a large 4.5 inch display with good resolution, the phone is fast and smooth, you get 4G LTE on AT&T, the camera is also good for a 5 megapixel, and you get a fairly new Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat OS. One thing I do want to mention is that Straight Talk does not allow updates to the Android OS, so if you like to be fairly up to date you will need to get a new phone every one to one and half years or so. While this phone does have issues I can live with them and its not bad enough for me not to reccommend this product.

Bad Experience Overall

Reviewed in the USA on 2016-05-22T17:00:00

3-4 yrs ago I purchased a Straight Talk ZTE Merit w a sim card, and it was a great simple phone, worked everywhere no issues. Last year I upgraded a little to a LG L41C which was really great with a bigger screen and nicer camera. At about a year it was freezing up alot, so I was going to upgrade to a Samsung that I kept seeing at Walmart on sale. After reading the reviews I saw there were quite a few really negative responses, so I didn't think it was worth taking the chance and spending more money and getting a complete dud. The LG Access had the highest reviews of all the phones with hardly any that were catastrophic, and it was practically the same phone as the L41C. It is nothing like the L41C, just a complete waste of $$ and time for me. Same few apps as I had on my prior phone, and I am constantly getting no network msgs. The 4G/LTE light is constantly changing back and forth, no bars on the signal meter. My travel and use habits have not changed in a year, I use this phone in the exact same places as my prior phone, and its just awful. I don't know if it is a phone issue, the network or software, but as a consumer it is not my job to figure that out, I should have a properly functioning product.
