I have had this phone for 4 days and it is very smooth. You get 9-10 Hours of battery life and a 1.2 quad core processor, I realy like the screen and I downloaded Dead Trigger and it runs smoothly. The only problem is the camera and the batery drains somewhat quickly but you still get 10 hours.
I got this for my 16-year-old daughter to have as an emergency phone for school. (I'm a single dad and money's tight.) This is a great BASIC smart phone. It does what it's supposed to do. Setting up the service was easy. I did it all on line and BOOM. Ready to go. I was amazed it has the Google voice command on it. I played with it for awhile and downloaded some of the apps the kid usually uses like Netflix which didn't look too bad. (What do you expect for $30?) Worked like a charm. The LOLLIPOP operating system is exactly like her tablet, so there's nothing new to learn there. In fact, it uploaded the things she already has on her other LOLLIPOP tablet which saved a LOT of time. Lots of extra apps that come with it including the built in FM radio. I am NOT dissatisfied. On the contrary. Remember, if you're looking for a diamond ring in a 25 cent vending machine, then you'll always be dissatisfied. If you drop it, drown it, or it get's ran over, you're out a movie and dinner. Just spring a couple of extra bucks for the protection program which will set you back a Tall, Non-Fat Latte With Caramel Drizzle.
The battery went bad in my iphone 4s so i figured it was time to upgrade...this phone blows it out of the water. To me the screen is much nicer than anything lg or motorola is offering through straight talk. If you are a samsung user you will quickly notice the screen is not as bright as an super amoled. It is quick with the quad core cpu, plenty of ram, and good enough storage (about 4.5-5 gb user). The 2mp camera isn't exactly an industry standard these days but it does it's job extremely well for being a 2mp with autofocus. The front facing camera doesn't do to bad as well. All in all if you want a full featured phone that fits in your pocket look no further. I personally think it's the best phone on straight talk for under $100
This phone is very user friendly, all of my apps and files work fine, internet speed is fast, it has a long battery life and is a great phone for the price. The charger plug is kind of funky looking, but that has nothing to do with the phones performance. I am very happy with this phone.
My grandson loved this phone!!
Great
Lsince I purchased the phone a month ago I have been able to charge it to over 80% about five times with each time taking over six hrs to achieve such. This is with both incl charger and new car charger. Even better is it loses juice when using the phone with charger plugged in and all indicators software is charging on AC. I have also had issues with phone shutting g down etc. I lost 2% while writing this review....
I had high hopes for this phone, but, understandably, seeing the $29.98 pricetag, I knew there had to be a catch. My Samsung Galaxy Core Prime screen shattered and I needed a quick, effective replacement, so without much thought went and picked this phone up. Don't get me wrong, for what it does, it's a very usable phone. But as stated in prior reviews, the wall charger is beyond shoddy workmanship, and the body of the phone itself does feel 'cheap'. Performance wise, no it is not comparable to the Core Prime, although the Alcatel does run a newer operating system (4.4.4). Internal phone storage is nothing to write home about, which for me was quite a letdown. I've noticed here recently the phone screen will randomly go black....then the screen lights back up as if I hit the power/lock button. When this occurs, the phone always reverts back to the stock wallpaper which is irritating. This phone is sold as a 4G LTE phone, but do not expect to receive those speeds. As I said before, this phone DOES work, and overall seems to be for the most part user friendly, but as the ol adage goes...you get what you pay for, and if you pay for the Alcatel One Touch Pixi Avion LTE, this will become evident immediately.
My lg vs500 screen shatered so I bought this "economic" phone worst decision ever it's very slow reacting to input 4g is slower than my lgs 1x also they misrepresent the internal storage on the box it claims 8g while in reality it has 4 but I guess ive come to expect disappointment from straight talk over the last yr so just spend the extra cash and get a phone that actually does what it says
The phone itself is not that bad, if something does go wrong with it you might as well not even waste your time with Straight Talk's customer service. They will just tell you to contact the phones manufacturer and then they don't even have the contact info. You have to go find that on the internet yourself because you haven't been inconvenienced enough by not being able to use your phone. The guy just keeps saying I'm sorry about that. Not as sorry as I am that I left Verizon for this bs. TERRIBLE customer service.
