I ordered my daughter this phone and she's satisfied with it.
I just bought got back this phone a few weeks ago,and I love it. It does everything that the more expensive phones do. Not as big but fits very nicely in the pocket. It's also water resistant in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.
This phone is working out great I would recommend it to anyone.
Bought this as a gift for my sister. She loves it. It came at a great price for such a nice phone. I would definitely recommend to others.
It's my first smartphone and I am completely satisfied with it. I have an iPod and I Pad and a lot of the features operate the same way, I also got one for my son at the same time and he loves it also
Ok here is a good assessment of this smartphone and what it is really good for as well as its weak points. I have dropped it into a lake few times (on accident) and was able to recover it without damage. Its camera for me is quite acceptable for a cell phone cam. audio quality from the microphone is quite good for a cell phone and conversations are reliably recorded for later review. the video quality on the screen is good. The biggest con to the cell phone is its built in memory size which is only 4g. The version of android it comes with allows you to move most apps to the SD card but more and more apps have write restrictions that do not allow you to do that. One of the app writers said that new versions of android and android apps have these write restrictions but they failed to explain why these write restrictions are taking effect. So most unfortunatly this cell phone will become obsolete faster in the years to come unless they increase the internal memory to at least 8g. with that said 4g is acceptable if you do not update the built in apps such as google+ and youtube and you do not need to install that many apps. rememeber that the operating system on this phone along with its built in apps will use up 3g so you will only have about 1g for your own personal use after the fact. I would recommend this cell phone to people not interested in installing many apps (I mean if you want alot of apps just get a tablet anyway) and for people that are worried about dropping it in water or for that matter losing the cell phone altogether because for about $50 you can afford to lose it without having to sell a kidney to get a new one.
Phone works as it should, clean UI and simple to use just like other Android devices I've owned. No issues with charging, freezing up, or being unable to use or install apps like others have reported. The specs for the phone state that it comes with 8gb of on board memory which is double of my last phone (replaced due to it being filled up from regular app updates). But after delving further into it, more than half of that was taken up by the OS and preinstalled apps/widgets. I expected some of the memory to be taken up, but close to 25%, not over half, I think that's extreme. Definitely will need an SD card if installing multiple apps or planning on using for photos/video. My other issue was that I started receiving regular messages about the sim card being added and that I would need to restart the phone, this was within a day of having it activated. No matter what troubleshooting I attempted from forums and ATT support sites, nothing worked. In the end it turned out that even tho my phones box came with a Walmart processing sticker on the back, they failed to scan/activate it properly during the shipping process and I had to have ATT customer service fix it, which they were thankfully able to do in about 5 min flat.
Not the most sophisticated phone, but the basic apps work and the phone is simple to use for a non-techy.
I didn't want to buy an expensive iPhone since I am a senior citizen and don't use a lot of apps. I already had this Kyocera AT&T phone for myself and bought this one for my husband because it was on line at Walmart for half price! Works great for me. Easy to use and I can call customer service with any questions. Also, my AT&T phone center rep helps me with anything I need.
Terrible phone keeps freezing up will not let you put aps on keeps saying not enough memory even with a memory card.
