This is what Christmas music is to me. The Carpenters Christmas albums have always been a part of the holidays for my family my whole life. It is awesome to finally have it on C.D. as opposed to the cassette that has endured alot of wear over the years. I cannot recommend it enough!
Karen Carpenter was possibly the best female vocalist of her time. Her brother Richard had a real talent for arranging and playing the music as well as helping with the vocals. One of the geatest duos ever. Unlike some artists who feel that they have to change the old songs into something completely different, The Carpenters just add their own style to traditional tunes that remain completely recognizable and loveable.
I have the original album from the 70's but needed an upgrade. Just as good as I remember, really beautiful songs.
I've always loved the way the Carpenters sounded. Their Christmas album is the best. Great discounted price at Walmart.
This is a wonderful cd, has many of The Carpenters holiday hits. My favorites are: (There's No Place Like) Home For The Holidays, Ave Maria, Merry Christmas Darling, The Christmas Song, and The Christmas Waltz. Karen's voice is so soothing and beautiful. There are also some instrumental selections done by Richard, that are very beautiful too. This is a must for any cd holiday collections, especally if you love The Carpenters music.

This is a classic, perfect for Christmas listening.
The Carpenters Christmas CD is one of the Best Cd's I own!! Karen's Beautiful voice just brings out all the Love she had to offer! If you don't have this CD, I suggest you purchase it!! You will NOT be sorry you did!!
