I've tried to "cheap out" and bought thoes refilled cartridges and they don't last very long at all. New Lexmarks are the best!!!!!
This is a standard Lexmark 26 ink cartridge, like those I have been using for a number of years. It performs exactly they way they all do. The big draw for me to buy from Walmart is the price. This ink cartridge is $8.52 less at Walmart than at Staples. To me that is a significant amount.
If you've ever made the mistake of getting your cartridges "refilled" at the local office supply store, you'll understand that even though brand-name, brand-new cartridges are expensive, you get what you pay for in the long run. Lexmark is consistently expensive, but also consistently reliable.
I love how great it prints, the only down fall is that it just don't last long enough if you print alot of high quality photos. Hope this helps.
Lexmark ink is available in many places but this was the best price I have found. It appeared to be of recent manufacture judging by the clean way the protective cover came off - not always the case!
Great product, but pricey!
We only use original Lexmark Cartridges (had trouble more than once with generic or refilled cartridges) and this was best price at time of order. It is getting harder to find Lexmark 26 cartridges as our printer is over 10 years old but still works perfectly.
Have only had 2 weeks and haven't printed much in color, color is dull and my printer says the cartridge is half empty. Got the larger size to prevent this but apparently doesn't have any more ink than the # 27 cartridge.
