Normally not a person that rushes to get something as soon as it comes out, however my experience with the UA flash has been exceptional and when I heard that DJ was dropping his version I knew I had to get me a pair. Highlights: 1. IPX7 2. Sound quality is amazing 3. Battery life is better than advertised 4. Talk through tech is actually very helpful 5. LOOKS AMAZING 6. Matches my shoes. Things to know: 1. You can't use the LEFT bud independently from the RIGHT one. Only the RIGHT side will work by itself. how ever just 15 minutes on the charger will give you 60% battery life. 2. Case might be a little too big to throw in the back of your jersey if you're a rider. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product. I'm a cyclist and gym rat. So to be able to find something that can deliver a low-profile, great isolation from the outside world and can withstand everything I throw at it from both sides is huge! Regardless of what you are into, these guys will deliver what you need. Don't really see any limitations.
I purchased these headphones for my husband as an early birthday gift . He has wanted these headphones since they came out last year . He is over the moon and happy with these headphones . He says They have good sound volume and he can't hear any noise while he's getting in his workout at the gym . Thank you!! Definitely recommend!! <3 the rock is absolutely amazing and we have been long time fans of his since his wrestling debut. No surprise it's good quality!!
I was excited when I received my new headphones! The box/case and info that came with them was very well put together.I like that they fit very well! The sound is excellent! I enjoy everything about them!! No complaints here!
I received mine yesterday and I already love these headphones. I have small ears and they come with S,M, L exchangeable rubber pieces for both the ear bud and tab that secures the headphone in your ear. The M it came equipped with was already really comfortable, but I tried the S (just because why not?) and it was noticeably even more comfortable. You tap the left bull once for talk through mode and it drops the volume automatically like 90%. You double press it for the ambient aware mode and it cuts it to about 50%. I was expecting the ambient award mode to be a little more sophisticated than just lowering the volume. I thought it might actually prioritize and enhance your surroundings volume over your music but they don't. Regardless the single and double tap quick volume control is very convenient. They get plenty loud enough for me and the bass is good for a truly wireless earbud. These also passed a Running, jumping, & cartwheel rest. They are the most secure fitting earbud I have ever owned. I know everyone ears are different but these don't haven't given me a headache after hours of wear. Some of my other earbuds had pressure points in my ears that gave me headaches until my ear sort of got used to the shape of the earbud. Not the case with these. I'm also a Taurus so it's like a cherry on top for me. My wife loves them too and I will be buying her a pair when they are back in stock. These headphones Rock!
I waited 6 months for these to come out and when they did I jumped at a chance to buy them. The earbuds are very sturdy and well built. They don't feel cheap and the case is very sturdy. Every feature is as advertised. The earbuds are easy to pair right out of the box. The extra comfort tips and wings make the earbuds fit well. The controls work well and are easy to learn. I am very satisfied with the overall product. My only concern is minimal as I knew what I was buying. The earbuds will sometimes not sync right away and I have to put them back in the case to sync them. Very rarely I will loose connection with my phone. Overall I am super satisfied with the earbuds. Project Rock kicks butt at making these earbuds comfortable for the gym. I forget I have them on most of the time.
My background is in broadcast, and creative media. My go to headset is the iconic Sony MDR-7506 for work. I own Bose headsets as well which are great in their own right. I'm a handicapped person so I am not a real athlete, but I'm starting focus on my health and am not afraid of hard work. This has been a boost in my fitness game mentally, not only because they are from the Rock, but also because of what they represent. When it comes to earbuds. This is by far the greatest set I've ever used and owned. The total package of the case that is charging as well takes this over the top. Rugged and robust case, that protects your investment. Everything you would expect with the Rock behind it. Comfort, sound quality, and tech were not compromised at any cost either. They sound incredible for earbuds. Best I have ever heard. Slightly heavy on the bass side, but not nearly to the point of beats that are so overkill on bass it creates the worst in sound quality. The ability to touch a button, and have volume cut to be able to talk to someone without removing an earbud is really awesome. As well as the ambient aware feature which is more for safety. That shows just how far they went in thinking this through. Top to bottom this headset sets the bar for earbuds. I use them almost daily for anything and everything. Hopefully they restock them because I need to get one for my fiancé.
I pre ordered the project rock in ear headphones in 2019 and they have been my go to headphones for the last 3 years. I bought a pair of Apple AirPods Pro almost a year ago and these headphones are still much better suited to working out. The AirPods kept falling out with almost any exercise. Great product and when they crap out I'll probably get another pair!
I bought these for my husband who's job requires long hours of walking. So far the earbuds are fantastic they do exactly what they promised they would, they are comfortable up to a point. His ears do start to hurt after a while but that happens with all earbuds for him. My only problem is the carabiner attachment, after wearing the case on his belt loop for about 3 days the silicone piece snapped from the case. The product is still fully functional but I'm really disappointed with how quickly the case broke.
I am unable to charge headphones as charging sticks in charging case stuck inside!! I dont have this for longer than 6 months and now unable to use it as right headphone needs charging
Barely functional. Half the time they don't fully charge. The other half of the time I have to connect and reconnect 4 times before they actually play sound. Have never had this problem with any other earbuds, headphones, or speakers. The reconnecting also doesn't work without putting them back in the charging case first so I've had runs where I go without music because they disconnect half way through and won't play sound when reconnecting. Noise canceling is okay. Have to jam it into my ear everytime I want to press the buttons on the side. The charging case has a cool clip to attach to things, but then you can't open the case far enough to get the ear buds out so it's either useless or a hassle to take it off whatever it's clipped to. Not even close to worth the money. Only have them because they were a gift and I wasn't given a receipt to return them. Never use them unless I've forgotten to charge my actually functional set.
