This game delivers all the thrilling action we've come to expect from the Call of Duty series. If you were in any way a fan of the COD4 this game is for you. All the great single player moments are better than ever now that they have 4 player co-op! The MP is rock solid, and don't forget the new Zombie mode, its amaaazing! Most fun I've had with a game in a long time, this is a must buy.
Although this game has glitches and all it's still awesome. The story to the game is pretty good going from the Americans and Japanese to the Russians and Germans. As for the weapons the flamethrower is cool, however i don't use it much bc i'm not the close quarter battling type i like to carry the STG-44. Hardcore Search and Destroy is my game. gt: XxChiBahnxX
Call of duty: World at War works off of the call of duty 4 modern warfare game engine. The online play is not 1-4 players. The online play is up to 16 players if you have played the call of duty waw beta you wouldn't give this game 2 stars. The online play is basically the same as cod4 except with a few new game modes, Older guns that are just as fun to use just look different to the eye and new perks and attachments(and also new maps.)In cod4 u had the red dot acog silencer and sniper scope. in waw u have the aperature sight (black dot sight) telescopic sight ( acog) sniper scope(...) lmg ammo holder( not really sure what it's really called but it gives u about 4x as much ammo per clip) The campaign is probably the best call of duty campaign ever made. You can play with up to 4 players with the co-op game mode. Also the visuals are much better. When i play the campaign i feel like im trying to survive more than trying to win a war which is very realistic. Overall i think this game is amazing. Great online gameplay. Awesome new campaign with 4 player co-op. And i almost forgot to mention the ZOMBIE MODE. Yes after u beat the campaign mode u unlock a mode called zombie mode. In this mode u and 3 other players will be in an abandoned house trying to eliminate the attacking zombies. Each wave gets harder and harder. you can set up barricades and buy weapons. This game gets a 9/10
This is an amazing game with outstanding graphics. Doesn't have a very strong storyline, like COD4 did. Overall a very fun and challenging for any war game/shooter fan.
I love playing this game . It has good graphics and fun game play.X box live is great
If your a FPS fan, this game is for you. Hands down one of my favorite games so far in the FPS category. You not only have a long, and depending on difficulty, intensive campaign mode, but also a solid and fast paced online multiplayer mode as well. Online play is probably the primary reason to get this game, although playing through the game will help you sharpen your skills, and keep you busy for a few days. The graphics are very good, and it's fun for both adults and teens. A solid addition to anyone's collection.
This game is like call of duty 4 with its multiplayer except it expands on it more. I was a little dissapointed that they kept juggernaut because everybody seems to use it but this game is really fun besides the fact. People who give this game a bad rep are just upset about this game going back to WWII!
Really fun and challenging [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This game has a good and understanding campaign includes co-op campaign. It is awesome online you can go through four prestiges and verse some of the best people. And also it has zombies!
if your a huge fan of the series you might as well buy this to keep it going. Overall i loved the 4th one so much and play it still today, but i thought this one would top it....it doesnt. The co-op is the only big plus for the game. The story line is kinda throwing you around a lot so pay close attention when playing. At points the action is good, but it gets repetitive. This is a fun game, but after the last one it sets you up to expect a lot more and sadly you dont get it.
