If your a handyman you will want or even need these at some point. They work great and do what they are supposed to do. They will make your job easier and neat and clean. I use these alot on automobiles but there are many applications you can use them for.
I received the 50 count of splice connectors and use them to connect the wire on my Impala vehicle. I strip the two ends of the wires and put the two ends into each side of the splice connector and then I pinched down using pliers in the middle and on the ends. Then I wrapped it with electrical tape and it was good to go! Works perfectly! These connectors are good for use with 16 to 14 gauge wire check to make sure what connectors are for what gauge of wire. I received this product from the spark reviewer program.
these are the best connectors for fixing cut wires. the heat shrink works great. just run a liter under it back on forth and you have a perfect secure connections.
When it comes to splicing wiring together there is nothing that seems to work better than splice connectors. It can be hard finding good connectors however, so I am glad I tried these. I found them very easy to use and after they are correctly crimped they are a very strong connection for two wires. I intentionally pulled on the two wires I joined and was unable to pull one of the wires out of the connector. Great connector for use where waterproof connectors are not required.
Every mechanic and crafts person wants a fast and simple tool to complete their wiring job. These EVER START Connectors fit the bill. They come in a variety of sizes to connect various wire gauges. (22-16-14) I had no trouble working with them and recommend them highly.
These were designed to connect two wires together and it does fine. The nylon cover helps prevent wires shorting out and the aluminum insert makes it easy to squeeze with pliers. These work as well as the other big name brands I've tried.
These are a very good quality product. I've used these(or very similar product) for years. They work well and are the equivalent to a soldiered connection. The only times they failed was when I used the wrong size crimping tool on them. The crimping tool has color coded dots as to which size to use on the connector. If you fail to use the correct size your connection will probably fail. I failed to use the correct crimp position(I was in a hurry) on several occasions. Again this was my bad and not the connectors. When used correctly these will work perfectly.
The Ever Start Plus 50PCS SPLICE CONNECTS are very handy to have around the house if you do electrical projects with any regularity. These connectors are made from purple copper and blue PVC tube. By industry standard the blue connectors are designed to connect 16-14 gauge wires. A note on wire gauging that the higher the gauge the thinner the wire. To test these I stripped about ¼ inch of wire insulation from the ends of the two wires I wanted to connect. Then I twisted the end of each wire. Then I inserted one wire into one end of the barrel of the connector. Then I used a crimping tool to on that end to secure the wire to the connector. Then I repeated the same process on the other wire and the two wires were successfully connected. In connecting current to the wire, I found the current did travel through the entire connected length of wire so the connection was successful. I tugged several times on each wire and the connection was still secure. I have found that these types of connectors are handy even when installing light switches if the wire from the wall is not long enough. These are good connectors and they are good to have on hand if you do electrical projects around your home. I recommend these connectors.
My husband says these are just ok. Becasue they dont have heat shrink you Have to worry about moisture getting into connection. If all you have are these Just make sure to also use electrical tape.
This does not fit my older model AS5203 model A-1
