EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger is plug and play. If you have a car partner or kids that have cell phones, this is for you. Everybody needs to be charging their cellphones in their car during a trip. As you can see from my pics, the 3M stick on USB connector can mount easily anywhere you need it with in 36 inches of the power outlet. I love the lighted plug and USB connector so that you can see it at night without turning on the overhead lights. With 2.4 AMPS of available power, it charges phones quickly. Recommended.
Works great (as it should, and does) but it also has a couple neat extra features, like the 2 USB ports, the 3 foot cable and the faster 2.4 amp charging output. Durable, so far holding up well and seems pretty solidly made. I like the fact that it is fused and one can easily replace the fuse should it ever be needed. What more can I say-it works, it has some extra neat features, its holding up well and does what its supposed to do, all very well.
I got this to charge my phone and it works great it's easy to use I can charge my phone and my husbands in the car and it works really well it works pretty fast and the charge lasts for awhile we love it and it has a sticker on it so you can put it wherever in your car would definitely recommend it to anyone
This nifty little gadget sure did come in handy. My husband wouldn't let me mount it on the dash due to it being super sticky. I did mount it below. Our phones were charged very quickly and conveniently charged both at the same time-perfect for road trips. The light up power circle made it super easy to see if it was working.
This is a very easy product to install, it has a sturdy adhesive on the back of the port and you can put it wherever is most convenient for you in the car. Plus into the cigarette lighter but there is sufficient cord to put the charger pretty far from the lighter if you prefer. The dual ports are awesome so you can be charging 2 devices at once. It did a good job of charging my phone and I am pleased with it.
The EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger is great for charging my phone and MacBook at the same time. I like how it lights up green so it's easy to see and find in the dark. For most people it probably makes sense to mount it on the dash but I mounted mine on the drivers side of the middle console so both I and my rear passengers can easily reach it. Have a dual charger that has both USB ports on the plug itself can make it difficult for anyone in the backseat to charge and access their devices. The cable going from the dc charger to the dual usb charger allows the purchaser to Mount it where it works best for them. I would recommend this to anyone who has multiple passengers needing to charge their devices or to anyone who needs more cable length to the USB port to charge cameras, laptops, etc.
I don't quite get why someone would want to dashmount a charger (where you still need to plug a cord into) except maybe so that it's easy to see where it is. However both the power button and the part where you plug the cords into have a green button that light up when it's plugged in. I found it to be a bit too much of cords in the front of the car, but it is very useful in the back of the car to plug into the back outlet and then pull it through to the backseat for those in the back to use. I do appreciate the light lighting up when plugged in as I've had problems with other chargers before where I think my phone is charging but the plug wasn't in all the way and I didn't realize it.
Okay I recently bought a brand new car and it came with two 12 Volt plugs and one USB in the dash! Does that seem a little backwards to you? Who needs two 12 Volt plugs and you can always use more than one USB. My last car had two USBs up front and two in the back seat. I love my new car but come on. Anyway when I saw this item I jumped at it. My wife and I are Walt Disney World Passholders and we were going down there a lot. Nothing is going to kill your phone like a day in WDW. Coming home I had my phone in the USB but her's was dead and useless. Not good for the long ride home. So I set this up and it seems to work fine. It even glows a cool green. We haven't done any long trips lately of course but I think it will suit our needs. The only thing I question is that the part you stick the USBs into is a separate piece and only has some 3M tape on the bottom. I really don't know how long that is going to stick to my dash or console with the constant inserting and removing of the USB plug especially sitting in the Florida sun all day. Is it going to leave a residue when it falls off? Don't know but there is always Goo-B-Gone I guess. There is a three foot cable between the two pieces. Now also realize that this is only a charger. Don't think you will be able to use Apple Play or Android Auto with it. But it is what it is and if that is what you need go for it.
I received this through the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. Only used it once since not traveling much these days but it seemed to work well. We used it for the kids to charge their phones while in backseat. Cord was long enough to reach. Has sticky tape (didn't use yet) on plug part and seems like a good idea to stick anywhere.
I was very excited when I got my EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger. As a family that uses their phones for everything, we are always in need of a way to charge multiple phones at the same time, especially on long trips in the car. Therefore, I was attracted to the EverStart Dual USB Charger, because, although their are plenty of 12 volt sockets in the back seat of car, there is only one in the front seat, forcing my husband and I to take turns using the charger. We have tried other 12 volt dual USB chargers in the past. We found that they "pop out" of the 12 volt socket, one of USB port stops working, or it charges to slow when both USB ports are in use. We did not have these issues with the EverStart 12v 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger. It was hard to push the plug into the 12 volt socket, but once in, it stayed in, despite rough road conditions. Both USB ports worked fine, charging both my Samsung Note and my Husband's iPhone at a fairly decent rate of speed. While using non-lightening, cheap, aftermarket cables, when one phone was plugged in, the EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger charged 1% per minute. With both phones plugged in, it charged both phones 1% approximately every minute and a half. Furthermore, the EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger is very well constructed and the cable termination points are reinforced, leading me to believe this charger will last a long time. The EverStart 12V 2.4A Dash Mount Dual USB Charger is black in color with two neon green LED lights. One LED light is on the end of the 12 volt plug and the other is on top of the piece that holds the two USB ports. This second LED light is nice, as it helps you see the USB ports in the dark. However, the first time we plugged in the second charging cable, the LED light on the piece that holds the USB plugs turned off and never came back on again. With that said, this same piece has 3M mounting tape on the bottom and an ample 40" cable, so you have enough cable to place the ports in a spot that is convenient for you. Overall, we gave this product 4 stars. It lost one star because the second LED light on the USB ports stopped working, but otherwise I am extremely pleased with this product.
