I bought one of these 15 yrs ago had to have a new one they spray very good
this product does an excellent job and more than meets your househould needs.
When I saw the Campbell Housfeld name brand I thought this would be a great product as they typically provide top quality tools. I was very dissapointed with the quality. I paint metal products that I build which are usually constructed out of square tubing. I use an aklyd rustoleum primer and paint with an aklyd rustoleum paint. The paint gun sprayed the paint and primer ok, not great, just ok..The problem for me was I purchased 2 of these guns as I usually have a helper to paint my products. The gasket that goes between the paint pot and the gun itself got to large after a few times of filling the paint pot so it would not seat correctly and became to large to create a good seal. The rivets on the side of the paint pot were so weak and flimsy that one of them became to loose to seal the pot. I noticed when I was assembling the gun and paint pot that all of the aluminum fittings were an extremely poor fit. In other words, the quality of the threads made it difficult to mate the fittings together and tighten properly. The gun sprayed paint thinner very nicely but when it came to pain, it did not perform well at all. On one of the guns, I had it sitting on my work table full of paint and I accidently knocked it over with a piece of metal that was sitting on the table. When the gun fell over, the threads between the gun and paint pot broke and now the entire gun is in the trash. My opinion is this, if you need this gun for a weekend project and are spraying a stain or something of light duty, it might work for you. If you need to spray enamels, laquors or primers and want something that will do a quality job and will last you for many years, stay a way...This is not for you.. I am very dissapointed with this product for my needs.
