We purchased this for our two year old son to use to reach the sink in the bathroom and to climb into bed. (he sleeps in a full size bed) It looks nice and serves its purpose. I did add some adhesive nonskid strips to the steps just to make it extra safe. Seems well built and will last through all of our children. We have other KidKraft items and have been happy with all.
My son needed a step stool to get in and out of his new bed (too high). The other stools we tried weren't sturdy enough, would slide on the carpet, or weren't high enough, but this one was perfect. He could climb up and down very easily, it is very sturdy, and the height is just right (the second step is key). He was afraid to climb into his bed by himself after a fall with another type of stool, but, from the minute we purchased this, he's used it with no complaints. I do wish it had come in other (brighter) colors to match the room decor, but overall, I am very pleased with this product.
This was just the right size, my son can carry it and move it and climb up to help me with cooking or teeth brushing etc. We just love these... we have 2!
This is a nicely made item. Easy to put together. We needed a slightly higher than normal stool for our son to get into his new captains bed. This works great, it is much more solid than the plastic stool we had to use temporarily until this stool arrived. Our son also uses it to get clothes off hangars in his closet.
The product is very well designed and made. Easy to assemble. Very pleasant, knowledgeable personal to work with. Very pleased with the product.
Love it! My 3 1/2 year old feels like such a big girl now. She can reach the faucet handles and wash her hands, brush her teeth, etc all by herself. The stool is sturdy and, as others mentioned, the back is not straight. It is A-line, which I think is better. With this shape, it doesn't hit the doors on the bathroom vanity so this prevents scratching. Would recommend to anyone.
Looks attractive as in the picture. Have a 2.5 year old daughter and am so glad I purchased a two step stool - The extra height from the second step comes in handy. My daughter's quite fond of it, she pushes it around and sits on it - the second step is also quite useful as a back rest when sitting
I found this on Wal-Mart after looking all over the internet for it in the natural finish. The price here was by far the best. It shipped to my store very fast. Was a bit tricky to put together (very hard to screw it together) but it is sturdy and does not tip over. My little guys can pick it up but it is bulky for them. It is perfect for our comfort height vanity and works great as a stool to get in their toddler beds. Highly recommend!
This is a good step stool the help the little one get to the sink and other places. Just beware it does slide on carpet and flooring. I had to go purchase non slip sticky pads to place on stool. After placing them on the bottom the stool did not slide on my carpet or flooring. Besides the sliding problem. I would say this is a sturdy, safe, and easy to assemble product.
The assembly is not easy, especially when the product does not send the right hardware and drill in the right places. A few of the slots were already stripped. Definatley returning this poorly manufactured item.
