The hand held showerhead was perfect for our situation. My husband has a broken leg and is in a brace, so he needs the hand held showerhead. I just put it back into it's holder and it works like a regular shower for me. We also like the various water pressures.
The showerhead I was using had very little water pressure. I replaced it with this waterpik showerhead and the change is amazing. The water pressure increased significantly. It no longer takes me 15 minutes to rinse my hair!! I would recommend it to anyone!
It was fairly easy to install and works great. I am pleased with the multiple functions of the nosal.
This hand held shower head is pretty good for the price. My wife loves it. I use it in the bracket, while she prefers to use both the bracket and the hand held option. I would prefer a metal connector to the supply pipe from the wall instead of plastic so you can use Teflon tape and a wrench or pliers instead of hand tightening only. I suppose at this price point that isn't available, I hope it doesn't loosen up and start leaking the more it's used. I had to retighten a few times and started out with Teflon tape, but had to remove it since it did drip. It's okay at this point after about a month of use, but if it becomes an issue I will have to get a more expensive one, but overall it does cause us to take longer showers since it has nice features, and since it's a water saving 1.8 GPM we can use less water.
In the store it appeared to be well made out of metal but when I opened the package at home I found that it was just shiny plastic. While it hasn't cracked or broken yet, it wont stay tightly fitted to the wall connection; it keeps loosening whenever I pull the wand down form the holder. Other than that it does what it is supposed to.
I can def tell its a water control model but it works well and I don't have a problem rinsing the shampoo from my hair.
i am very unhappy with this product. The waterflow is so minimal there is no massage effect whatsoever. I've owned Waterpick products in the past and as pleased with them. I tried using it several times and finally gave up and put my old showerhead back on. I will be returning this product ASAP!
I was terribly disappointed with this product. I think you save money because you don't get any water pressure! Surely one would expect water pressure from a shower massager.... I felt like I had to try harder to get clean and rinse off. I am buying a different one today. SHould have read these reviews first.
I knew the price was to good to be true...after installation, water comes shooting out of the handle at the bottom of the wand. Do not buy this shower head! We even tried to use the white plumbers tape...took it back the next day! :(
The part with the various spray patterns popped out of the handle after only having this for about 6 months.... Do not buy.
