We used this to surround our kids play area and filled it with green tire mulch. The installation was easy but I learned right away that you need to use either a steel bar or rebar to make your pilot holes for the stakes. They are sturdy but will break if you have to hammer them in with force. Great product.
We used the edging for our garden, to enclose our trampoline area and to create paths down the side of our house. the play area is holding mulch as well as one side of the house. the framing down the side that enters the backyard is holding a stone pathway and it looks good doing it!
makes a professional border in no time at all. made a playground border for my Grandkids and everyone raves about it. The only improvement I can see needed is to make the top edge rounded on both sides--they are a little sharp for small kids
This product went in great. The directions were easy to follow. Product fit together nice and even didn't give us a hard time with ground elevation; in one spot were our tree is close to border it didn't create gaps on the bottom -amazing! Only problems we had were with the stakes...we found that hammering a metal rod to make hole to guide stake helped tons. Stakes do not come out easy so go slow and make sure they are straight. Overall great product!
I purchased this as a border for my children's playground that I intended to fill with pea gravel. Installation was a snap, product is sturdy and attractive. I really like this product.
I used this product to surround my kid playset. I installed it in just over a hour. It was very simple to install.
We purchased the Playground Border Kit for our kids Playset. The dimensions given for the playset were wrong and the playset was actually larger than listed. We needed to make some changes to our order from "Frame it All" and there was a Representative who helped us make changes to our order from her home (due to the recent winter snow storms back East) and helped to get the product to us in a timely fashion so that we would be able to complete the playset assembly in time for our daughter's birthday. The assembly was just as it was described in the online video and was very stress and hassle free! Great product!
used it on my Grandkids playground border, finished in record time and it looks great. had no problem hammering them in ( got lucky, didn`t hit any roots). can`t think of anything negative about them. Except I didn`t come up with the idea!
The materials are well made and provide a nice appearance. I found that the ends moved around a lot with the lack of pre-drilled holes, so it helped to get a consistent look by using a clamp to hold the end onto the plank before screwing it in. No pre-drilling was necessary with the self-tapping screws provided. Plan extra time to assemble the components.
Love this product!! I was looking for a border that would not require extensive maintenance and give definite 'curb appeal'. This product fills that bill!!
