I bought this for my oldest son when he started Algebra, and he is now using it for Geometry. His younger siblings are fond of it as well and are always using it for their math and pre-Algebra, too. It has held up well to four homeschool students so far!
I had this calculator 18 years ago when I was beginning middle school. Back then the calculator had great features which made life easier in my math classes. When I was buying school supplies I noticed that the calculator was still for sale, so I ordered it. Upon arrival I was using it on homework and I noticed that they added some great new features. I am so happy with my purchase.
This is a Texas Instruments calculator like the ones I grew up with. I tried to use my phone calculator before purchasing the Texas Instruments calculator but the Texas Instruments calculator was quite easy to use, and did everything i needed.
Although I am not allowed to use in exams, this calculator is very useful with the classwork and clinicals.
This is what you need for Math class! I appreciate that it comes with a cover, it's solar powered, easy to use, and it works every time! This is the exact calculator sold in other stores as well as seen online; however, the price is unbeatable at Walmart. This is my 2nd purchase. I love it!
I've lost track of how many of these calculators I've owned. They usually succumb to an extra dash of sweetened coffee. This is a great calculator and I highly recommend it for minor engineering projects and for school work.
Appreciate the quick I order them probably 10:00 a.m. I had them the next morning by 10:00 a.m. which that's the fastest delivery I've ever had from anybody else
Bought this for my daughter's school list, it stopped working a week later i would've returned it but my daughter threw it away. But usually a fan of Texas instrument used mind all through school no problems
Bare minimum scientific calculator. It's a little janky and you will have to sometimes press the buttons extra hard just to make sure it actually registers. One time it completely froze on me during an exam and I had to rapidly press different random buttons until it finally did something (not even the OFF button worked). Good if you are only using for light calculations in a low pressure setting and you don't have a lot of money to spend. However, do not use for exams unless you want the extra challenge...
Zero. Should have known when we opened it and had to press the on button more than once for it to come on. But it worked in the moment, so we kept it. Then the off button quit working and now, not even a month after opening, it won't come on. Worst part, my daughter tore the packaging up when she opened it, so I can't even return it.
