I purchased my first Sharp adding machine back in the 1980's when they first came on the market. I had owned and used a number of other Sharp products and had been happy with them. I purchased my second Sharp adding machine in 2004 when my first one "gave up the ghost". I had my second one until a few weeks ago when it to "gave up the ghost" after 12 years of steady use. So know I am on my third Sharp adding machine, and God willing when this one goes out I will be able to purchase yet another one!
The desk calculator is exactly as described, and I am impressed with the fast and secure shipping I received. I strongly recommend both the product and Walmart.com!
All I can say is "It was wonder purchase and the calculator works just fine in my tax business. The functions are all you could possible want and you will not find a better buy anywhere for this price. Good price - Good product. JTS
The Sharp Calculator EL-1750V is a very good machine. I do booking & I need a printing machine. I got it to replace an old one that I have had for many years. I am very pleased with it. It has the time & date if you need it, it is very nice. I very good choice for the money.
I like the size and the price. I like the paper read-out, I've used other Sharp items and liked them which prompted me to try the calculator. I'm also pleased with it.
II needed a Calculator Ten key type. I could not have it to large as I have a small desk area. It was perfect to replace the large one I had that took up so much more room. It’s perfect! And works great!
Ordered online and received it fast. Bought this to replace one I had, the buttons are in same location as old one. Made it easier to get use to a new one. Works faster than my old one. Had a good price.

This calculator made me feel stupid and I'm not an idiot.Every time I tried to use the subtract - button, no matter what the calculation,it wouldn't subtract or it wouldn't give the correct total after using the - key.I do know how to use a calculator too.I have for many years.I even wrote Sharp asking if a "certain" way to get it to work right.The answer was exactly as I used the keys but as I said the - key wouldn't ever give the accurate answer for me or an answer at all.Also,I found I had to use the * key to get it to "total".I never could get the = key to show the "totals". The only positive I can say about this calculator is it did load the paper really easy.I didn't have any problems loading paper into it at all,unlike a couple other printing calculators in the past. Since I could never get the subtract - key to work right for me,I ended up returning the calculator. I had even bought my mom the exact same calculator and hers did the exact same issues,so it got returned too. What happened to a small printing calculator working simply to where a person can do easy transactions with the +, -, and = keys without any problems and working correctly. Best of luck to the other ones who loved this calculator,you're fortunate yours worked fine. I guess I was out of luck.
This calculator is a waste of money. I am used to a regular calculator that uses the = sign. This item , when adding or subtracting, you have to hit the + key for a total. Even when subtracting, you have to hit the + key for the total. What ever happened to the basic calculator that you hit the = sign for the total.
