Easy to use and an exceptional value. I purchased this calculator for algebra and graphing. It comes with an easy to use guide book to help you understand all the functions. It has large, wide spaced buttons that are color coded for easy use. Batteries were included.I ordered it on line and it arrived in less than 5 days. Walmart had the best price I found. I would not hesitate to recommend this item.
We purchased this calculator for our grandaughter who is entering the eighth grade this year. It will introduce her to a calculator and ready her for a TI-83 Plus. We are true believers in Texas Instrument products.
This calculator is great for 6-8th grade math students. It graphs, makes tables, and works fraction operations (with or without converting to decimals!) It also is very similar to the TI-83 / 84's that many use in high school, so the transition it easy. As a veteran math teacher (who rarely lets students use a calculator!) I use this calculator with my students that last month of school to prepare them for high school algebra.
I love this calculator. It has proven to be a very useful in my Computer Math class. I am majoring in Education at a University, and we are required to learn to use these calculators because kids in upper elementary and middle school use them.

This is the calculator that was recomended by my college professor for Geometry and Probability for Elementary Teachers. It is a great calculator and has a cool feature that handles fractions in fraction form.
