Great size and protection in winter and rain storms.
So far so good. It has kept the squirrels away from my finch feeder, so hoping this will work. The squirrels always seem to find a way to get into the feeder, so this may be the answer. The product is great, easy to assemble and looks nice.
Was having problems with squirrels getting onto my bird feeder. This product works and is reasonably priced. Best price out there! Beat amazon price by $$$$$. Great job Walmart!

The squirrel shield was very easy to install. After a few hours I saw two squirrels under the bird feeder obviously discussing my new shield. It's been three days and so far do good!
I hung the squirrel baffler today and have high hopes that it will do its job well. The design looks good. But I worry about the flimsy looking plastic hooks. My feeder is just like the one in the image and it is a bit heavy. I hope that a jumping squirrel will not be too much and break the plastic hooks. It is hard to understand why such a well designed unit would use plastic instead of metal hooks just to save a penny. If the plastic holds, my comments are wrong and I would give a 5 star rating. If they break, I will be at my work bench figuring out how to install metal hooks.
I REALLY like this baffle BUT when I got it delivered it was Cracked and missing the pieces to attach it to the bird feeder pole. I think if it was Not Cracked and missing that piece it would be perfect. Very disappointed and will be returning back to Walmart.
It is described as a "squirrel baffle" which to me means a shield that prevents a squirrel from climbing your bird feeder pole. Actually it is a bird feeder COVER to keep rain from hitting the feeder. So it is not what i needed, however by chance i was able to rig it to fit the diameter of my feeder pole. I had to tape it on to secure it. Be careful of the reason you are buying this item. So far it's working, but it's not designed to be a "baffle"
I purchased this Perky-Pet transparent squirrel baffler to prevent squirrels from climbing up a metal pole that holds two bird feeders. This product has two design flaws: 1. The baffle is not slotted. Therefore unless you have a two-piece pole you will not be able to use this product. 2. The baffle hub is made of very cheap plastic. The locking screws are extremely difficult to install even when the screw holes were lubricated with oil. As I installed these screws the baffle hub cracked. The screws appear to be too large for the screw holes. The screw holes should have been threaded and should have matched the screws. Very disappointing.
We are very disappointed in the Baffle. Couldn't get the screws through the plastic holder. It's sitting in our garage. We are both elderly, but my husband is very strong and he couldn't put it together.
