I ordered this bench for my pool area. I was so pleased with the quality that I ordered a second one. The quality of the wood is excellent. It is comfortable to sit on even for a long period of time. The price is unbeatable without giving up the quality. You can't go wrong with this one.
Very pretty bench and looks expensive, but isn't. Others on the internet cost at least twice as much. I plan to stain my 2 chairs to match the bench color because I like it so much.
I pretty much bought the entire Delahey collection so this bench was a perfect fit! I love it! Very sturdy and a snap to put together. Funny - I read some other reviews that said the little plastic pieces were hard to remove from the screws - but mine all just slipped right off. Maybe they've fixed that?
The bench was easy to put together. It is a very nice cherry color and the best part is it all ready has an oil finish, however, I still applied my own teak oil. The bench fits two people nicely and takes up less space on my porch than rocking chairs. I love how it looks. In addition, the bench is comfortable for ALL body types. Thanks Walmart!
This bench is unbelievable for the price. I've been shopping for a bench and most are four times the price on the internet. Plus you have to pay shipping. If you use the ship to store option, you don't even have to pay shipping, which is a great benefit. The bench looks great and is a cinch to assemble. As far as the complaint about the plastic sleeves over the bolts, I just took little tiny scissors and cut them right off. It was no problem at all. We had it together in minutes. The price was only $49.00 when I bought it 10 days ago. They've raised it to $56.00. Still a great value!
FIRST OFF START BY TELLING YOU THAT THE BENCH IS OUT OF STOCK FOR A REASON ! OBVIOUSLY IT WORKS I USE IT FOR THE END OF BED TO SET MY CLOTHES OUT. I ALSO NEED A PLACE FOR MY FUTURE WIFE TO PUT HER SUIT CASE ON WHEN SHE VISITS. IT IS VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE JUST WASHER-LOCK WASHER THEN NUT JUST DON'T OVER TIGHTEN. IT IS A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. JUST HAVE TO GET A HOLD OF ONE WHEN THERE IN STOCK.
From the picture I expected this bench to be a medium cherry color. It's actually a dark red/brown color (imagine a state park picnic table). It appears to have no sealer or varnish on it which adds to that effect. I didn't have any problems with the packaging or pickup (I did site-to-store) but if you care about color keep this in mind!
The bench was easy to put together and is pretty sturdy. I am a big guy and I found the bench to sustain my weight well. Good buy.
I intended to use the table outside, but I ended up using it for a coffee table, and surprising it works. It's great, and it really speaks to my eclectic personality. I'm very happy with my purchase, and the price was just right. Most coffee tables are much more expensive (hundreds of days) and don't have the same character. I don't know if anyone else would use it the way I would, but it's a great piece to have to use a number of other ways...indoors or outdoors.
I am very happy with this bench (bought 2) once is was assembled. HOWEVER, assembling was HORRIFIC. It's not a hard piece to assemble, but it has little plastic sleeves over each of the bolts that you have to remove. 8 per bench. My husband and I both worked on it and it was excruciatingly painful to remove and my hand was trembling for, literally, hours following the removal of these sleeves. The bench itself is beautiful and a great value and easy to assemble except for the plastic sleeves, but these plastic sleeves almost made it too much trouble.
