[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, this is disappointing to be limited to 2500 characters! Having worked on many full-room A/V setups with "true" suerround sound, and worked through the placement and balancing of speakers at different parts of the room, I certainly had my doubts about how a single soundbar placed under the TV would possibly compete. I'm happy to say that I have been surprised and pleased! The soundbar and subwoofer only "require" power cables as they can use Bluetooth or WiFi. HDMI eARC is a good option to use though! There is an option for purchasing rear speakers, but the way the Q800T seems to balance itself and play off of the acoustics in the room really doesn't leave much missing. Even sitting off-center, the surround sound was impressive. Being able to handle Dolby Atmos as well as DTS-X, preprogrammed "height channels" can be utilized from incoming sound. I've found though, that the "Adaptive" capabilities of the soundbar are really good too! Even on older TV shows, it was able to provide rich sound and separate dialog from background noise. I was not able to take advantage of teh Q Symphony feature though, as my TV is an "older" model (2020-or-later needed). Maybe that is my next purchase! As a 3.1.2 channel system, it is able to offer the standard Right-Left-Center, plus subwoofer, plus two vertically-oriented channels to create teh completely enveloping sounds. It arrives in a single L-shaped box, and although the delivery folks did not seem to deal well with strange shaped packages, it was insulated well and came out unscathed. It weighs just under 30 pounds all told, and fits very nicely under the TV (soundbar) and off to the side of the room (subwoofer). Much nicer than having cables all over the place! I only briefly played with the Alexa integration, and it seems interesting, but I am more old fashioned I guess with my TV system. Give me a remote (albeit fancy multi-function one) to control things rather than Alexa. I'm sure others will enjoy that feature as well though! Overall, this has been a pleasant installation and functional piece of equipment. It went in very easily and has worked flawlessly in all of the tests that I've done. It has been nice to have an easy-going method of integration compared to some of the multi-day installations I've seen in the past! Definitely would recommend!

Amazing sound, really brings movies and TV to life all around you! Extremely easy to install and even easier to setup with a Samsung TV. Link via Bluetooth or WiFi. The built in Alexa feature is awesome and allows you to easily play music. With smart things you can also easily connect directly to the speakers with your phone and play music or video. This setup has it all, sleek form factor and looks, amazing sound quality, easy to setup and feature packed. You couldn't ask for a better surround sound system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so very excited about getting this sound bar, I am 60 and I can't tell you how often I had to stop the streaming movie and back up so my husband and I could hear something we missed. It was an annoying part of aging. It was very easy to set up , good heavy quality equipment. The tv recognized it right away, it recognizes the WiFi the whole thing went well! Great job Samsung! I can hear every detail clearly and the way it bounces around the room it is like there are speakers everywhere. We have another brand in the family room older technology but still a Harmon Kardon, and this is so crisp and clear by comparison I would say this new technology with dts x. 71.2 channel sound is far superior. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a superior sound bar for a very reasonable price. The first thing I watched was a rock concert it was seriously like I was there. I liked it so much I ordered a smaller bar for our 13 year old daughters room she is definitely green with envy as I bought this for our bedroom.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are blown away by how crisp and clear the sound from the Q900T is! Movies, TV, Games, and music come to life like never before. The immersion is insane, you get drawn into it and get lost in the movies just like you would in a dimly lit theater. The separation in sound effects in Atmos or even regular DD or DD+, DTS tracks is on point. You can clearly hear the transition from front to side back to back and side to front without any rear speakers! The best part is that our Samsung QLED TV simply works with the eARC feature, so we can enjoy Atmos on everything we enjoy to watch including Plex! It's not easy for a soundbar to create the 3D field, and having owned many soundbars, including other great Samsung ones this one by far out does them all. The aesthetics are tastefully done, the new cloth style grill blends in easily with any decor, and adds a more upscale design and over all look. Since it integrates with the QLED we can easily control everything with out using two remotes. The QLED recognized it and right away allowed us to navigate all the options via the same UI. The subwoofer is a monster with explosions and very low deep bass with every kind of music. Watching just about anything is a joy with the Q900T, you can get immersed in the viewing or listening. The optional SWA-9000S rear wireless speakers adds even more to the full experience, we tested with and with out and you still get a great experience, adding them rear speakers kicks it up a notch. Very easy to sync and configure, it even allows you to control the level right from the QLED TV menus. Over all we are very impressed with the latest Atmos offering from Samsung, Q900T it was a very big step from our previous Samsung Soundbar. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience the full Atmos and DT-X has to offer. The sound field and immersion alone will make your ears very happy. Your TV will thank you, your ears will thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this sound bar. My setup before this was full of wires and this was a refreshing change of pace. The only wires needed were the two power cables and an HDMI to the TV and i was up and running.. The sound quality is amazing. it is clear and fills the room. This is by far the loudest sound bar I have ever used. I could not justify turning the volume up over 25 out of 100. No matter how high you turn it up, the sound never gets distorted. The feature set is equally as impressive. The WIFI connectivity makes it easy to play music from any devices without being tethered to it by Bluetooth. All i have to do is select it in Spotify and it automatically turns on and starts playing. I can still play a video or listen to anything on my phone and it will not interfere with it. The mute button on the mic is a nice addition and provides a feeling of security and assurance that no one is listening in when Alexa is not in use. The Smarthings app makes it easy to use even without a remote. You can pair, change input, adjust the sound profile and turn the volume up or down. The only issue one might have with this is the fact that you don't see what is on the display on the soundbar when sitting on the sofa. I did not see this as an issue because the remote provides a dedicated pairing button for Bluetooth. Overall, this is an amazing device and will definitely recommend it to any one who enjoys clear and HIFI grade sound.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a high-end soundbar to replace the clutter of a traditional 5.1 theater set up and the Samsung HW-Q900T fits the bill perfectly. The unit is a premium 7.1.2 setup with a dedicated subwoofer consisting of 7 channels, 1 subwoofer, and 2 up firing channels powered by 16 speakers with speakers positioned at both corners of the sound bar to produce an expanded sound stage. It was important to me that my new soundbar supported Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I wanted a cleaner look and was happy that this unit was able to give me immersive surround. This unit can get extremely loud… like being smacked in the face by Mike Tyson loud! While watching some movies with Dolby Atmos, I was impressed by how crisp and clear not only the dialogue was but how loud and crystal-clear the surround sound effects were. Clear dialogue is a big problem with some sound bars, but with its dedicated center channel, Samsung has solved this issue. This sound bar sounds amazing and can shake the walls of your home (I feel that I need to apologize to my neighbors!). Standard TV viewing and dialogue heavy content comes across clearly and accurately. To my listening ear, the Samsung HW-Q900T provided well-balanced sound going between action movies to standard TV to different music genres and to gaming. The Alexa voice assistant is built right into the unit which is a nice feature of the unit and provides most of the functions of a standalone Alexa device. I am having a couple of minor issues with Alexa not working properly, but this may be a software bug that Samsung has to take care of. The unit itself sounds amazing and I have finally removed the clutter of the 5.1 speakers throughout the room. Another nice feature of the unit is that it does support Samsung's Q Symphony technology which allows those with a Q series Samsung TV to add the TV speakers to the sound set up in perfect sync. It has another feature called Tap Sound which allows you to play music from your smart phone on the sound bar and with just a tap of your smart phone onto the sound bar, it will start playing your favorite playlist. Pretty clever! All and all, this is a high-end, high quality and well-built sound bar that has exceeded my expectations. I was looking for explosive sounds for the action movies that I'm a fan of… and I found it here with this unit. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for well-balanced immersive sound to play everything that you can throw at it and sound amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q950T delivers a wide soundstage with balanced audio throughout the room. It has more than enough punch to feel like you're in a small movie theater. This Soundbar is massive yet slim enough to sit in front of most TV's. Bonus: a wall mount is included in the box! As soon as I opened the Smart Things app it recognized the Q950T and easily added it. If you prefer more visual controls Smart Things offers just that along with being Alexa enabled. I listed to a few high-quality Dolby Atmos demos and made minor adjustments to the factory settings. I then watching Godzilla and Ready Player one, I almost forgot I was in the living room and not my dedicated home theater. Sound separation is amazing, the center channel projects clear vocals no matter what volume it's at. In a dedicated theater you want to feel the bass not hear it, the Q950T sub does an excellent job of that. Dolby Atmos and DTSx affects are very challenging to accomplish whiteout physical speakers in your ceiling. Somehow this amazing Soundbar pulls it off well, the timing of reflective audio and clarity is immersive!!! When listing to music you'll appreciate hearing sounds you may not have heard before. It's nearly impossible to listen at max volume though very clear it's just that loud. The wide soundstage really shows out when listing to music, especially live concerts! Play some Hip-Hop or EDM and you'll feel like you're at a Nightclub in NY or Miami! I've added a few pics to show the size differences between the Q950T and their mid-tear Q70T. Though it's large it's not an eyesore or intrusive. My only small gripe is that the display is on top, why???? Everything else is near perfection! You will not be disappointed with the Q950T, it's worth the premium!

There is nothing quite like separate wired speakers for a true theater experience, but the wired speaker setup does not always fit in every room. I needed a great sounding speaker system without all the wires and speakers for my master bedroom. I have had several different setups, but I am finally happy with the Samsung Q70t 3.1 ch soundbar. The system provides room-filling sound in a small package. The soundbar is designed to be small and thin, so it looks great under large flat-screen TVs, such as the Samsung QLED TVs, or in my case, the Samsung Frame. If you have a Samsung QLED TV, then this is the ideal soundbar for you. It is designed to work perfectly with a QLED TV and the artificial intelligence built into the QLED models. The QLED models have the ability to auto-calibrate the sound from the soundbar to the room environment and what is playing on the TV at the the moment. If you don't have a QLED model TV, the soundbar still uses adaptive sound to what is playing on the TV at the moment, but does not take into account the room environment. The soundbar sounds great, and the wireless subwoofer provides more than enough bass for a medium to a large room with no distortion. One of the greatest things about this soundbar is the ability to hear dialogue clearly. So many of the soundbars I have owned claim to have this ability but don't. With the q70T, the dialogue is clear, even in loud background action sequences or heavy bass moments. The soundbar also produces a lifelike surround sound effect even with just 3.1 channels. The Dolby Atmos feature is a nice add-on and does enhance the sound when present, but it in no way equals a true surround setup. Overall, the sound is, rich, full, and clear. The additional sub makes a big difference in rounding out the sound. All of the sound, including the bass can be adjusted within the Samsung Smart Things app. Using the app also unlocks additional features if you have a Samsung phone such as Tap to play, which allows you to tap the phone against the speaker to transfer audio or video to the TV. The soundbar also has Alexa built in, which is great if you don't already have an Alexa in the room. For me, it was redundant becuase I have a Fire TV Cube that I use to control the TV. Overall, this is a great soundbar, and at the price point, it is one of the best on the market.

I love how easy it was to set up and how it Bluetooths right to my TV so I don't need to run any messy cords to my TV. I can also play music and videos from my phone and tablet using Bluetooth through the soundbar. The subwoofer has deep bass without drowning out the voices and other sounds on my TV. The sound coming out of the soundbar is crisp and clear and makes you feel like you're right in the room with the characters in the movie. I love the audio controls that are mounted on the soundbar itself that is a really handy function when the remote gets lost int he couch. This soundbar is so user friendly and easy to navigate and use. It also syncs up with my Samsung Smart Things app on my phone so I can also control it with my phone.
