the screen display (lighting, fonts, etc) reminds me of blackberry which is very cool...easy and accessible, even fun to play around with...biggest eye catcher is the gorilla glass...I've dropped my phone twice (on accident, of course) and not a single knick or scratch on it!!
So far, I've been really impressed by this LG device. I was originally looking for a replacement phone for my retired BlackBerry Curve ... hmmm for a duration no more than 12-24 months before I consider a "top of the line" phone. To my surprise, this has turned out to be the aforementioned. Great quality; love the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform; great price! Hands down, this rivals the Samsung models as well as the Apple iPhone.
Perfect phone for me for the perfect price!! Touch screen is super.responsive, this phone is basically flawless. I love that small and fits right in your pocket with no problem. Apps, games, work and load great. Video and camera quality is excellent. I absolutely love this phone and recommend it to everyone.
I was a little leary about getting this phone. My husband and I are on a very tight budget, but we were looking for specific features. We have BOTH been so pleasantly surprised by the phone's performance that we have told everyone we know of it's amazing value. Our only disappointment is how quickly the battery dies when you are hooked to wifi 100% of the time. However, the standby battery is incredible.
Only very small problem is took pictures on beach and the came out with a purple haze and also having a redeye problem in the pictures I do try to fix with red eye button but nothing happens. Phone is a great value otherwise. I have had my phone for three weeks now and the battery is cool if i am not using data or talking all day.
For the price, if you're not worried about getting the absolute latest and greatest of everything, this is a GREAT way to go! Newest Android operating system 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich... Great features... Great overall phone! Paired with Metro's 4GLTE service, it's a fine choice.
I've had my eye on the LG Motion for a while so as soon as they offered a decent deal on it I bought it. My last phone was the Samsung Admire which I thought was okay until I got this one. It's amazingly fast and much easier to use. I am so happy with this phone. Although the battery lasts much longer than the Admire it still uses a lot but that is the case with most droids. That being said, it charges up remarkably fast. I am very happy with this phone.
Everything loads pretty fast, the most annoying thing is how small the display is-When i try to switch between letters & numbers i am constantly switching languages instead due to how cramped the screen is.otherwise no major complaints and I'm happy with the phone in general.
The fact that it does not keep a charge more than a few hours negates any of the possible benifits of haveing a "smart" phone. I cannot use most of the features because the batterlife is already so slim. If I could I would return it for a simpler phone that could hold a charge.
The design placement of the "language" button being right next to the number/alphabet toggle button is terrible. I'm constantly bumping the language button and have to keep resetting it back to English. The battery life on this phone is also not good. I have all of the energy efficiency settings on, I don't do anything but text a bit, not much use for telephone calls and no internet...and the "low battery" warning comes on every night by 6-7:00 p.m. I have to charge the battery daily and I'm not using the phone for much else than minimal texting! I would not recommend this particular phone to anyone.
