This phone has a great display, large alpha-numeric characters. Reception, for me in the northern part of Illinois is great, using Net10. No SIM card needed, IMEI is used as your phones ID, creating an account with pretty much any pre-paid carrier is easy via internet or phone . Plenty of volume sound, and overall moderate speed. I have this as the family's backup, in addition to my first mobile phone You'll like this one.
I bought this phone because my wife has one and it works great. It is a super phone for the price, and it was on sale, so it was an even bigger value. We have used Net10 for years. It is a reliable provider with very good customer service.
Purchased the phone to be able to bluetooth in my motorcycle without having to change plans. Works great, kept same $25.00 monthly plan.
Very good phone
i really like the phone it has great features and reception. the screen is large and bright. the texting features are good. its a great all around phone
Works just like the other reviews said it would. Very happy with it.
Nice phone for the price. The big deal with this phone is it still works with NET10 $15 200 minute plan we have without requiring a "data" plan. Keyboard is a little small for texting. Appears to be well built and is compact. Tough screen works very well. Has too many feature to list. One annoyance is there is no sent message folder and difficult to tell if the message was sent. Not obvious as some phones that say "Message Failed"
The Net10 LG 305C Prepaid Smartphone is a ''Verizon cell tower based'' sorta smart phone. The "C" in the LG 305C tells you that. Verizon bought out AllTell and their network that works best in the country setting for us. We had an ''A.T.& T. cell tower based'' phone that would get maybe a single bar of a signal in the house. This Verizon based phone is pegged out at 5 bars signal strength. That's a huge difference. It does the job for a basic, no frills smart phone and you can't beat the price. It's holding up fine. It's got a decent camera and features. We got the Square Trade warranty with it just in case. You can't beat that either. No problems with that every time we've ever needed it. They paid off or fixed it, no problems. Go for it if you don't need a monthly plan draining your wallet. We just stack the minutes up and pay for the time basically since our phones aren't glued to our ears like the rest of the world, it seems. LOL! :D
I know with different phones, it's always a trade-off--some features you like better and some seem worse for your purposes. I was mostly attempting to upgrade to another dumbphone but with a full keyboard for testing. And I got that. You have to click in the text box and then hit the options button and select keyboard from the menu. It comes with wifi accessibility. I like the smaller size cuz I'm not doing much with it other than using it for a phone. The external buttons on the side seem a little clumsy for me...I accidentally press them but it hasn't really resulted in any terrible problems. There's certain things about the way you have to swipe or press to respond to calls/messages or execute actions that I don't find as intuitive or more directly responsive as I would like. But I guess we tend to get used to different devices' means for performing. I switched from a flip phone that utilized ATT's network. This one utilizes Verizon's and in my area, it seems to have a little more reliable of reception. I checked to see if replacement batteries are available for it and at that time, there were. (If this is a concern for you, search again by model #.) Overall, I'd say it seems like a good value. I'm glad I replaced the old one. And I'm still using the same lower-cost Net10 plan that I like for now (I don't use data, though).
Good basic phone if you just want to make phone calls &receive texts.
