Amazing phone - even does things I hadn't considered. High quality cameras and sound. I added a SanDisk 64GB card, so I expect my needs will be met for a long, long time.
Great size, decent "mom" cameras, great touchscreen, good memory.
I love it. Great for a better GPS signal than with Stylo1.
Smooth and responsive. Beautiful screen, easy to use, and easy to setup. This is a great 200 dollar phone. You definitely get your money's worth here. It has extended storage through an sd micro chip which is great. At 200 dollars this is a mid range phone and it delivers. If you are looking for a camera first and a phone second you are going to have to move up to a higher tier. More expensive phones have incredibly fast and responsive cameras, low ligh capabilities, etc. That is going to cost you a boatload of money. Know your budget, know what you want out of a smartphone, and be realistic about it.
Pros: Had Stylo 1. Which I loved except for the GPS. Now that's solved with a dedicated antenna with the Stylo 2 Plus. The camera is better. Its just as fast scrolling, loading and now supposedly has fm which I haven't found yet. Pen is much improved and writing notes on a locked screen is good. Fingerprint scanner is fast and better than my sons Samsung s6. We compete all the time. And compete on loading pages. I win usually. He has a lot of games, I don't. But the games we do play like Angry Birds even though he has a higher quality screen, mine is just as good and just as fast. Plus my screen is bigger. Netflix and YouTube work great. The glass is supposedly better with gorilla 3. And phone is a bit lighter. Which at this point isn't much of a point to be made anymore. I liked the heavier and rounder feel of the 1. This feels like I can drop it break it much easier than the 1. It is the LG 4 little brother same size but lacks some of the bells and whistles. Which I really don't notice. But would like the G4. I do notice The $500 difference is well worth saving. I would pay an extra $120 to get the LG G4 but isn't available for family mobile. The sound is ok. So its between pro and con. Cons: Price went up. They changed the screen color and have a reader option now that is horrible grey yellow. The Stylo 1 is better but can get use to it. It's slower and dumber! The main downgrade from the Stylo 1 is that Even though they upgraded to 2gb of ram it is a wee bit slower due to them getting rid of the option to store apps to a sd card and only on its internal storage. It makes it slower and basically limiting the apps you can have to only 16g. It is a really really really bad downgrade. Where the Stylo 1 had no problem storing anything onto sd. Also Why they dropped a simple feature like scroll thru on home pages is beyond me. Its annoying to have to scroll back from now your last page to your first page. Plus now every app has to be in the home pages. Cases are hard to find. And you need one. If you can keep your ram usage down then your golden with this smartphone. If your a gamer forget it. Which stinks because as a parent I don't want to spend a fortune on my kids phones. And the Stylo 1 is better for gaming than the 2. But I also want them to enjoy them when they keep up their grades, etc. So passing this Stylo 2 down will get complaints and won't happen. But as an adult
Nice phone with more features than other comparably priced models (better camera, stylus, more). Lightweight but do not care for the plastic case.
Awesome phone works great just don't forget to buy a simple card kit with it. Cheap low monthly rates love it. Peace out
16gb is a good amount of storage space, but I miss the ability to move apps to the sd card. I research android 6.0 and this is a feature that should be there along with other features the make better use of the SD card. I contacted LG and they were no help. They blamed it on the carrier. The home screen is also missing the app drawer and your stuck with all the apps on the home screen. LG said I could download the LG Home 4.0 from the LG Smart World App. I downloaded the Smart App but the 4.0 home is no where to be found on it. I downloaded a simple app drawer from Google Play and then hid the apps I don't want to see, (You can hide icons from the home screen settings) This prove to be a satisfactory solution. The phone is otherwise a good phone for the price. The screen resolution is very nice and I like surfing the net on this phone.
The phone is fantastic: I like the screen size, the screen responsiveness and the pen has some OK updates. Only complaint is that the speaker could be better.There are very few differences between the 2 plus and the LG Stylo (and probaby LG Stylo 2). To get to the point: I wish it was specified that THIS PHONE IS LOCKED ON WALMART FAMILY MOBILE for online purchasers. I have Tmobile and I wasted 3+ days trying to unlock it and calling Tmobile EARLY in the morning when this is not possible. Went to Tmobile and purchased the phone for $80 more. Don't waste your time if you plan on taking this phone to any other carrier or buy at your own risk- you've been warned.
Bought this at full price. Not worth it. Phone doesn't have a menu button. All apps have to on home screen or you have hid them individually. Had mine less then a month and the screen cracked! Even with a very good case! Don't waste your money
