It took me a full day and by day I mean over 24hrs to get my phone to 100% charged for the 1st time. But after that it charged just fine. I have not been able yet to put personalized ring tones on my phone. Still figuring that out. But overall a good descent phone!

This is the greatest LG Phone I have ever owned, the most recent maitnence update, hasn't seemed to make the battery better but worse, the keyboard is wonderful, very durable, and Wonderful features.

I have had this phone for almost 2 years and it's wonderful. I love it, I almost don't want to upgrade when I am eligible this year. Battery life is great, standby battery life is about 3-4 days for me and about 2 days if I play a lot of games or use the web. This was my first smart phone and it was super easy to learn to use. LG makes good phones, my past 4 phones have been LG and when I am eligible for an upgrade from this one, my 5th one will also be an LG. I have yet to have a negative experience with LG's products, so please keep up the high quality work LG!

Although newer, faster android phones where coming out at the time I was looking for an upgrade, I chose that Ally based on its price, and the overall feel of the phone. Compared to other androids, the keyboard is excellent, the placement of the power button is preferred by me, and the touch screen is excellent. The only thing I noticed is that it takes a little longer to process, which I knew it would be where I bought the phone. I was told to by the droid, but I am happy I chose otherwise. The features on the phone are easily customized by downloading applications from the market, making the phone a lot better than expected. Thank you LG for making me stick with you for the third phone in a row.

Although I have only had this phone for less than a week, I love it! I have been holding off on writing any sort of review waiting for problems to surface, but I am happy to report that so far I have had no problems. I suspect that some of the problems I have read about, which almost kept me away from the phone, were due to the users. This is me and my wife's 1st smartphone, and it has proven to be very user friendly so far. I would definitely recommend this to others. Keep in mind being a smartphone it is power hungry, that being the only drawback I have noticed so far. Having a computer in your pocket definitely requires power. I have been able to make it through the work day and evening without having to plug it in. Keep and eye on your apps running in the background, as well as what you have turned on (i.e. bluetooth, wi-fi, etc.) and you should have no problem making it a full day. As far as durability, my son dropped it on the kitchen floor the 1st day, and it did not seem to affect it one bit. I will most likely be investing in the cover kit to keep it looking great. For me the size of this phone is perfect. Going from an EnV2 to this was not very drastic at all. So far, I love this phone!

We just got our phones yesterday and are still figuring things out. The one thing we cant figure out is why does the phone turn back on when we plug it in to charge?? We shut them off before we plugged them in and the next thing we know is they are both powering back up. Doesnt make sense to charge a battery with the phone on. Maybe that is why the battery doesnt last long even when you have everything off.

I've had this phone for 3 weeks now and overall I like it, but there are issues with the phone. It is a little slow and sluggish, especially when switching between applications. If you have more then a handful of pictures in your gallery, it is very VERY slow and freezes on you. The music player is ok, but there is no way to turn it off once you start playing music except to go to the main applications menu and kill the service. Battery life is less then advertised, and that alone may be enough to warrant a return. The wifi is nice and general daily use for browsing is ok, but again, the memory or processor is an issue, and the phone's browser is slow and sluggish at times. Overall, the phone is a cheap entry for those wanting an android smart phone, but I would not recommend this phone to my friends until these issues are resolved.

I am so unsatisfied with this phone! it works so slow and tells me memory is low nonstop even when I dont have hardly anything downloaded on my phone. It has deleted all the pictures off my phone on more then one occasion. When using a different memory card then the one that came with my phone it deleted everything off the card. Have to deleted text messages even when there arent very many on there due to telling me my messages are full. phone will shut off and restart all on its own. Have downloaded all the updates for the phone and with each update phone just keeps getting worse and worse.. wish I would have researched devices a little better before I purchased this device or should have just stuck to my voyager model and had that replaced again through my phone service provider.

I have had this phone since April 2010. I have had problems with it ever since. It randomly unmounts the SD card, deletes text messages, says it is out of internal memory when it has over 20mb (and when it does this it wont send or receive phone calls or text messages). I have tried different memory cards, and i am on my 3rd different phone. It has terrible battery life and the camera shutter button will only work when it wants to. I will never recommend this phone to someone.
