I needed to replace a phone that was not suitable for my lifestyle. I would hit the power button at the most in opportune times. The LG Rebel has the power button recessed in the back and it literally changed how I handle a phone. I also realized how slow my other phones were/are. If I buy another phone in the future, it will be something like the LG Rebel 4 just for the performance. It fits great in my hand, doesn't switch on or off in my pocket, and you can't even tell it is reconditioned. I've bought reconditioned devices before and this one is beautiful.
I bought this reconditioned LG Rebel 4 to replace an aging Tracfone Samsung J3 Luna Pro. It came in what looks like to be brand new condition. The LG Rebel 4 comes with Oreo 8.1 and also has a recent security update and seems to be getting them from time to time based on what I've read. The phone itself is good... it's fast, the rear camera on it is not bad at all and everything else seems to work well. Battery life seems decent. My only complaint is the placement of the power button, which is on the back of the phone and not the side. Also, it has no fingerprint sensor. But, for the price, this is an excellent phone and a worthy replacement for my Luna pro. Better imo than the Samsung J3 Orbit.
It works well for minimal applications. I have an + cell for backup & apps im not using all the time.
So glad to get chance to revirw. Service to activate phone was awful. Dev 24 hot phonr tried to activate. Leinor $ trafine chat deactivated current phine. 3 chats latet Jose patiently activatef phobe. Lastlu did not het 2nd line rewards.
This LG Rebel 4 does everything a brand new one would do and I can't tell the difference between it and my wife's Rebel 4 that she paid full price for. My old flip phone could not be up-graded again and I needed a reliable phone that would work even in a power outage, (That happens quite often here) because the land line goes dead when it happens.
great value!! i am hearing impaired, so the talk minutes are useless to me. i need the data and texts, and what is offered is perfect for me, without spending alot of money thru other carriers. i recently upgraded, and was pleasantly surprised to find the "chat" online @ tracfone is actually a live person!! this rep was super helpful in getting me set up. i recommend tracfone for those, like myself, with disabilities as well as financially strapped, and also for ANYONE.
I was not able to relate to the phone easily. It was not apparent to me, e.g., where to find how to text...I believe the terminology used was chat or converse or something. It was VERY hard to find out how to get voice-to-text to work. I had to download something and then choose a different keyboard. Even then, the v2t would not work in the recipient box for a text...and why in the world not, I wondered?
The phone is ok for someone that wants to just call out or to get calls. The only real problem is that it gets really hot while using it and we get a lot of calls that I guess is for the other user that had it so we are continually blocking the numbers.
Just got the phone in the mail does not work won't even turn on
Have to reboot (shutoff and restart) everytime I want to make a phone call. The initial screen that comes up and asks for my pin to unlock phone does not work. I have to reboot to get the proper screen to come up to enter my pin to unlock MY phone.
