You can go for as long as a week before needing to recharge this phone.
The LG phone has allot of good features. Cell service is limited it requires WiFi and doesn't always work. But for the price it is a good deal.
This is a replacement cell phone for my wife who didn't use her last one bought thru Consumer Cellular and we were paying $20/month just to use as an emergency phone. The LG is OK but she just doesn't want to use it!
We ordered 2 of these phones for our household. The phones activated but we were never able to get our current phone numbers to port over and the phones never worked correctly (terrible echo when trying to make or receive calls). We contacted customer service 5 different times; the techs were great, but could not get the phones to work. Finally cancelled the service and returned the phones.
Huge mistake. Going through the pain now of getting my number ported back out of Freedompop to a regular carrier. Sams Club really needs to distance themselves from this company. Simple wireless to wireless port out according the the FCC should take 1 business day max, I'm currently at 14 days (10 business days) and aggrevated with this whole situation. Everytime the company did a new update to their app either the texting, calling, or both would start having issues and once you did the update there would be a new bug in the new app ranging from only being able to call other freedompop users, to only being able to call non-freedompop users, to calls dialing out and hanging up on the party you were attempting to call when they picked up, to having to shut off wifi on the phone to get a call to dial out, to...how many to's do you want? And I was paying for the top of the line premium services. Just really bad.
The quality of the phone was poor - could not pick up our WiFi, which is the basis for their "free" or reduced rate service. More importantly, they could not give us a phone number in our area. We have three area codes that they could select from, but they supposedly had nothing available. Wanted to give us an out of state number. Great!!!! Then every time my husband calls from our landline- it's a long distance charge. Ridiculous, so I took it back. How can I give it less than one star?????
